I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON AND I'M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

Chapter 556 summary:

Oars Jr. is pretty much confirmed dead, Whitebeard treats a high-ranking giant as fodder, and the offensive forces are flooding into the bay and inching closer to Marineford. Doflamingo gives a lecture on philosophy (WHOEVER WINS THIS WAR BECOMES JUSTICE), Toby pees his pants, Akainu's a BA, Sengoku's gonna off Ace early, and what's this...?

What do you mean? There's plenty to discuss.

Like is Oars really dead? If Pell didn't die when he tanked a blast from a bomb that would have destroyed an entire city, I can see Oars coming back on a peg leg by the end of this arc, sadly.

We can also discuss Doflamingo little speech about justice. He's definitely becoming one of my favorite characters.

And how do you think the Impel Down crew ended up in the sky? Last I saw, the Gates of Justice were being opened by Buggy the Messiah. I have no clue how they ended up falling from the sky. :?:

Probably because of the giant fleet of pirate ships blocking the path, and it was mentioned one of Iva's winks sent them flying I believe

Also, I'm fairly certain Oars is dead

Doflamingo, I dunno, I'm not saying he's a bad guy, but he just looks.. mean, I guess

I can forgive all the recent breaks though. Oda's been jamming his chapters full of two-page spreads. The guy probably needs a bit of extra time to produce such a sheer amount of awesome.

Okay, so I feel the need to mention that the anime has gotten to Impel Down and the newest episode was Luffy meeting up with Buggy.

I had a huge grin on my face the entire time.

New One Piece opening.

Waaay too happy-go-lucky for the current story. But it was nice to see a few of the color spreads included, AND HOLY CRAP THAT'S A LOT OF MARINEFORD TEASERS FREAKING AWESOME GODDAMN.

Also the animation is beautiful.

I don't know why this topic doesn't get more traffic, One Piece is totally rad. I've read probably two hundred chapters in the last week or so, and I'm getting close to being caught up. Only 60 chapters to go.
