I liked DBZ and DB a lot when I was younger. There's some parts that are still pretty good.

DBGT was terrible all around though. I couldn't make it more than 3 episodes before I couldn't take anymore.

I never seriously kept up with DragonBall, I've probably seen only 40% of the episodes.

I kept up with DragonBall Z a lot, the first episode I saw was when Piccolo fused with Nail. Seeing Goku turn Super Saiyan, without having any prior knowledge of Super Saiyan (or saiyans in general), was pretty awesome and it's basically what got me hooked to the show. I made sure to go back and watch all the old DBZ episodes before continuing.

DragonBall GT is pure crap, the crap that happens in that series does not belong in the DragonBall universe and can go burn in hell. It's a shame that some DragonBall Z games include the GT storyline and elements.

I loved DBZ when I was younger, but looking back I tend to consider DB a better show. The pacing was a bit nicer, as well as the focus on humor. I actually go back and rewatch them every so often, too.

I don't even know if I watched more than a few episodes of GT, but the final episode I did enjoy. Seemed like they realized at the last minute the horrible error of their ways and went back to the original fantasy theme of the series for Goku's final moments of screen time.

The original creator wasn't involved in GT, which is likely why it's total crap.

It's just about one giant fan fiction.

I liked the original dragonball a lot back in the day,
and my brother has all of the Z series which is like 9 thinpack dvd volumes long...
