I saw it on TV (dubbed, ew), and then decided just based on that, that it was cool enough that I wanted to watch it. I saw the 2nd episode on tv, it was cool. I highly recommend this series to you.

Under the care of her adoptive family, Saya Otonashi has been living the life of an anemic and amnesiac, but otherwise ordinary schoolgirl. Saya’s happy life is shattered when she is attacked by a chiropteran, and learns that she is the only one who can defeat them. ("Chiroptera" is the name of the order of biological classification that contains bats, probably the reason for the vampiric creatures being called "Chiropterans".)

Armed with her sword, Saya embarks on a journey with her family, allies, and Chevalier, Haji, to rid the world of Chiropterans and rediscover her identity. The course of the journey reveals the background history of the chiropeterans and Saya's very deep past, which extends into the mid-19th century.

The series is initially set in present day (September 2005) Okinawa City (Koza), on Okinawa Island, near the US Kadena Air Base. In the course of the series, Saya visits locales across the world, while fighting enemy chiropterans and searching for her origins.

I've been wanting to watch this for awhile, just haven't had time. I'm going to try to watch some over Thanksgiving break or after I finish watching Azumanga and re-watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

. I was actually talking to a friend at school about this and he said it's pretty good. He's like half-way through I think.

YOU DARE TO CALL AN ANIME WITH CRISPEN FREEMAN IN IT EWW!? YOU'LL BURN IN THE INFERNO!! :evil:

But seriously, don't go saying ew to a dub without stating why...sure might be your opinion, but there's plenty of anime where the dub is far superior than the japanese. I prefer Crispen Freeman's Haji far over the japanese one. :lol:

yes i've seen a few episodes of blood plus. it's pretty interesting.

i saw the episode that basically tells the childhood histroy of Siah and the other guy. And the one where that one girl gets poisoned or something, and she shatters.

Ehh only watched the first six or so episodes of this but it was pretty good...and it has a nice reputation.
