Well the other day I started to watch .hack//Sign, then after 3 episodes I realized there's more than 1 "version".

.hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet
.hack//Liminality
.hack//Roots
.hack//Sign

Does anyone know what order these go in? Like which i watch first, second third and last or are they just random stories with no connection?

Thanks :D

It goes:
.hack//sign
.hack//infection (Game)
.hack//mutation (Game)
.hack//outbreak (Game)
.hack//quarantine (Game)
.hack//liminality
.hack//Legend of the Twilight Bracelet
.hack//Roots

There really isn't a conclusion in .hack//sign but there is one in the games. Liminality happens roughly the same time as the games but liminality focuses on the outside world while the games focuses on the inside. The legend of the Twilight Bracelet is years later with new main characters. Finally, Roots is almost a completely different series but with similar settings. :D

Woot for Sora! Yoink! And same as to what the people above say.

There is an OVA for .hack//Sign called "Unison" that shows the characters from the .hack//Infection series and the .hack//Sign series that ties everything up. Sort of. It's just a giant party and everyone is there! :D

That's the last episode of .hack//sign if you buy the dvd. (And I've only seen //Sign and played //G.U. vol 1)

It's very much related, it uses a lot of the same character, you just don't know since they're playing new guys.

ANYWAY, I've watched //sign, played Infection, played G.U. 1 and 2, and watched all of Roots. I LOVE .HACK// <3
