Just reached level 2, and wow 74 lessons to do now haha.
Kind of annoying how vocab switches onyomi and kunyomi readings around so much, but other than that it's going great. Definitely my favorite kanji learning tool so far

I used the heck out of Wanikani for 6+ months but I've finally fallen off of it because I've got so much other stuff going on. I stopped at level 19 (I have exactly 1234 reviews right now lol) but according to Wanikani I've permanently burned 126 Kanji, and that's dang awesome. I'm pretty happy with that having come from knowing none of them before. I think I would enjoy continuing this and learning so much more, but it's a problem that I would never get a chance to use it, so I wouldn't really have a reason to learn it in the first place, and I'd lose some of it through inactivity.

Before my subscription runs out in June or July or whatever I'm gonna do all my reviews again and see what my final burn count will sit at. :)

I might give Wanikani a try and see how I do. I've never been good at learning new languages though.

It's actually really great in my opinion. I just got kinda burnt out after doing it daily for 6 months, hehe. Still learned a ton though!!

Ok, so I was going to try it out and ran in to a problem. I feel like I'm missing something really obvious but I cant figure out how to start lol. :awesome: I went to the link and did the beta sign up thing but that's all. When I clicked on the confirmation link It takes me back to the same page with he sign up and there crab alligator mascot thing. Can someone help?

Edit: I may have found it out. It sent me another email that I got into its beta thing and had to do all that stuff. So yeah I dont need help anymore. I think... That email was hilarious though.

Now level 3, I got the 1 year subscription at 50% off. The pace is slowly picking up which is nice, but I find that a lot of the mnemonics are weak so I have to come up with my own. So far though it's definitely a great experience.
