Okay, done with Outlaw Star now. It was a pretty good anime. Mindless, but good. I had a fun time. I think I'm going to watch either Last Exile or Samurai Jack next. Or maybe this one called Future Boy Conan that I recently found which was made by Miyazaki back in the 70s. Can you say best find ever? :awesome:

Future Boy Conan was rad. Supposedly, there was supposed to be an electromagnetic apocalypse in July 2008. Anyhoo, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Before I move on to something new, has anyone read the Phoenix series by Osamu Tezuka? I'm curious about the magnum opus of the man toted as the godfather of anime.

Kino's Journey was pretty good. Nothing spectacular, but what can you do in 13 episodes? It was nice.

Finished Last Exile yesterday. A very good anime if I ever did see one. I'm thinking of rewatching Clannad, but I don't know if I can take the heartbreak. D:

Durarara! was fantastic. I especially loved when Issac and Miria showed up at the gathering. xD

Started watching Trigun, but got distracted when I decided to watch all five seasons of Stargate Atlantis instead. :awesome:

DAVID HEWLETT (Rodney) IS SUCH AN AMAZING ACTOR. There are like several episodes where the whole plot practically revolves around him and he pulls it off amazingly every time. I am truly impressed (apparently so much so that I made a rather off-topic post here.)

You won't regret it. At the same time you will.

I just finished it a couple hours ago and still can't think straight or getting the ending out of my head.

It's like the anime was an egg. It starts out real plain and simple and then suddenly it's all scrambled and messy and you wonder when everything went to hell.

The show takes a serious mood change a few episodes in. I watched it on a whim because I hadn't really watched an anime that was just a straight up romance series (where people are in a relationship the entire time and it focuses on them. I've seen plenty of anime with a plot centered around romantic interests).

It appears I still haven't.
