Actually, I think the entire art style underwent a subtle shift a few chapters back. Either that or the scans I'm looking at are distorted.

Yeah, he may be shifting his style a bit, but I think it was more that he was trying to lighten the mood; Facial expressions are a key to doing that.

Keep in mind that the Hueco Mundo arc has lasted like three years. Kubo was probably in a good mood while drawing the past few chapters because Ichigo is finally leaving. Hence the light mood.

Yeah, it's been going on for way, way, way too long. It got interrupted by two full filler arcs as well as a dozen one-shot fillers in the anime.

But his shihakusho (jacket?) isn't really his main attribute when in any hollow form, his mask or other hollow parts are, like how his mask will break and crumble and sort of represent how long it will last

But it's definitely a backup for Kubo for when Ichigo needs another power up, I think his new mask will do for now though

EDIT: He would've looked amazing if it did actually restore itself when he was in that full hollow form

I miss when Ichigo acted serious. He acts like a kid that wants attention now. It doesn't feel like it's the same writer/artist at all XD

Yeah, it's a game intro. Bleach: Heat the Soul 6. My friend had Heat the Soul 5 on his PSP and it was actually a pretty fun game, lol.
