You might have heard of this site. It's not the best resource for anime news and reviews, but they have an awesome list-making feature that a few of us here are already using.

You can create a list of anime (including what you're watching, watched, want to watch, stalled, dropped, and don't want to watch), manga, characters you like, characters you hate, and there's even a meter to show you how much of your life you've wasted spent on anime.

It's pretty nifty. ^_^

It's because you list 486 episodes of Pokemon, 205 episodes of Digimon, 191 episodes of Bleach, etc. As a rule I don't add those to my own list because I think it horrendously blows things out of proportion (all of that combined is at least over half a month and there's probably other series; I know a bunch of people list Dragonball / DBZ too). Someday, though, I might go through the Pokemon Episode Lists, actually find which ones I've seen (which is probably darn close to most of them) and see how much it would give me. But for the time being I use it more as a list of what I've watched than a time counter.

Oh, I didn't say I didn't believe you. I just feel it's on a different kind of tier is all. One I watched on TV when I was 12 because there was nothing better to do, and one I actively seek out and make time to see on my computer when I have spare time.

Ahh, that's the difference then, I have gone out of my way to watch it all on my computer scene, XD. Although, you go slightly insane after hearing "Prepare for trouble, make it double" for the 20th time in a single day.
