Just started watching this today...anyone else like it? I love Maka's voice

There are many instances where I get the feeling that this is a D. Gray-man ripoff.

Just started watching this. This is one of the stranger things I've ever watched, but it's growing on me. Definitely pulls off comedy better than action though.

Synopsis: The Grim Reaper has created a town in Nevada called Death City where he has a school for "Death Meisters" and Weapons. Two kids partner up, one is the weapon and the other the meister, and the weapon has to eat 99 human souls and 1 witch. They then graduate, and the weapon gets to be the Grim Reaper's personal weapon.

So to bump the topic, anyone else watch this? I'm about 15 episodes in right now.

Watched it back when it first started airing.

It's a great series - Beautiful animation/art, interesting story, funny and pulls off the action parts well. A must-see for any fans of shounen.

My only qualm is that around episode 40, the anime strays away from the manga and ends with a non-canon ending. Still worth watching, but if you really enjoy the anime then you'll want to pick up the manga (which is still on-going).

I also watched it way back when. I prefer the anime plot to the manga plot, though I haven't seen any new manga chapters on the web in ages.

I like the manga plot better, but it doesn't seem to have been updated recently.

Just finished it. Finale was a letdown, but was kind of expected. Overall, pretty watchable show.

It's a monthly release.

COURAGE PUNCH.

Read the manga. It keeps the trend of on-going awesome instead of the rushed finale that the anime had.
