RVET Event #61: March 2013
GWD Boss trip!

Jackstick, Muse, and Lander cowered in front of General Graardor. There was a telltale dark spot on the crotch of Jack's trousers.

"Did you piss yourself?" Lander asked.

"Well, Graardor is imposing," Muse mused. Jack stared on in silence. The three ill-equipped warriors awaited their fate. Graardor laughed.

"Puny!" He bellowed. "I eat you!" The mighty servant of Bandos advanced, ready to pummel the unfortunate members of the RVET.

But then, a knock at the massive stone door.

"Bros!" Someone shouted. "We'll save you!" Ventrue and Ex Rex rushed into the fortress. With a guzzling of overload potions and a casting of soulsplit, the mighty duo saved the noobs who would have been roasted on a spit by the last living Ourg.

Do you like making money? Do you like killing runescape's most fearsome bosses? Join the RVET and your fellow villagers in a boss hunt!

Do not be worried if you are a lower level, the rest of us will protect you! Have you never bossed before? We can help. Come on out to the God Wars Dungeon and share in the loot when we get the fabled Bandos Chestplate!

Keep in mind there are some requirements to reach the GWD. 60 strength OR 60 agility are needed to pass the shortcut to the GWD. Climbing boots are needed as well as the completion of Troll Stronghold. You must have at least beaten Dad in the Troll Stronghold quest to walk there, you must have completed Eadgar's Ruse to use the Trollheim teleport. Also, you must have at least 70 strength to access Bandos' fortress, and you must have a hammer on your toolbelt.

About The RuneVillage Events Team
The RuneVillage Events Team is a team led by Landerpurex with strong support from Jackstick, Godders, Kikori, Eadwulf, Bluecoat, Riptide, and Muse. Together, we plan one event every month for all of RuneVillage to participate in. I'm down for anything, this turnout was pretty good so I am definitely inclined to do more bossing.

I think the event is even still going on to some capacity, 4.5 hours later. This one was a big success! Thanks for coming everyone!
