RVET Event #53: February 2012
Texas Hold'em

Tanksandguns leered across the green felt table at Landerpurex.
"mumblemumble" he said.
"What?" Lander asked.
"Mah mah mah mah..."
"Speak up, dude."
"Can't read my, can't read my, no you can't read my POKER FACE!" Tanks howled. He jumped up and began to dance wildly. Lander looked on in mild frustration.
"Are you in or out?"
"I'm ALL IN!" It was true. Lander couldn't read his poker face.

General Information

When: Saturday, February 25th
Time: 9 PM GMT, 4 PM EST, 1 PM PST
Meeting Place: http://www.pogo.com and/or rv chat.

Poker Party Information
This month, we're trying something new and different. We at the RVET are committed to following the new direction, and subsequently, trying new events! There's no shortage of card players among us, so who's ready to put their frivolous, fake internet money where their mouth is? Winners of each table will receive a prize!

We'll be using the general games website pogo.com to hold our event. To participate, you do have to create an account. But it's fun, quick, and easy. And there is a good chance we will use this site in the future to play other games as well. To join, simply click on the link labeled 'casino games' and you should see No Limit Texas Hold'em. Click on that, scroll down, and click on the 'easy marks' room under the 'just for fun' tab. Be careful not to click the 'play now' button on this screen, as that will automatically launch you into a random game. Once you're in the easy marks room, look for one of three private tables headed up by myself (Landerpure) defeat (defeat) or N00b 4 M1nin (GodderstheGreat). The password for any of these tables will be 'rvet'. Join in, and play some poker! If you're unfamiliar with the game, you can ask any of us for a quick rundown of rules, or you can follow the handy 'how to play' link at pogo.com. Games will be played until there is one player left standing. Winners of each table will receive a prize!

We understand these directions might not be the easiest to follow, so someone will be available in the RV Chat if you need assistance. We'd be happy to walk you through the process if you're interested in participating!

Lastly, long-time leader and tireless workhorse of the RVET, Jaron; is stepping down as leader and I am to take his place. If you've ever enjoyed a RVET event, make sure you thank this man for his legacy and hard work! We love you Jaron! :love:

About The RuneVillage Events Team
The RuneVillage Events Team is a team led by Landerpurex with strong support from Dark Paladin, Jackstick, Mackerel, n00b 4 m1nin, defeat, and Tanksandguns. Together, we plan one event every month for all of RuneVillage to participate in.
