So I've got 3 weeks off university coming up, and seeing as I've recently got a shitload of coursework done I thought I'd treat myself to a month of membership :). I'm not really interested in the main game, so I'll be mainly playing old school.

Haven't really played properly in 4 years, so I'm not really sure what to do first. Any ideas?

Oh, and feel free to add me. My RSN is Monktonians.

Hmm, I can't remember if the update to "Make X" that affected Crafting, Herblore, and Cooking was implemented before or after 2007, but if it was after, definitely go to work training these skills in the olden ways. You might be able to return to class with some good ol' carpal tunnel syndrome.

Quests unlock a lot. But you will need to train some skills up for the basic quests.

Quests are definitely the way to go, my total level is 450 odd and at least half of that is through quest exp.

start off by going through the first 3 floors of the stronghold of security and collect 10k cash. the 4th floor is just boots. feel free to do it if you want, but there is no cash reward.
then you should do waterfall quest. it will give you 30 att and 30str as a reward. then look into knights sword quest(requires 10 mining) to get an easy 12k smithing exp.

also, if you go to the basement floor of the varrock museum and do the quizzes, you will get 9 hunter and 9 slayer levels.

I'll also take that advice. I remember seeing a lot of people doing waterfall. I forgot about that since i did it way back in RSC.

I've been following a really good start up guide that someone put on pastebin: http://pastebin.com/gE97bXVG

Grand Tree and Fight Arena can be safe-spotted so do those two for lots of combat exp.
