Way to be a bit late. :awesome:

The DLC is pretty good, but the whole new currency being dropped only by the 2 (annoying as hell) afterbosses that don't drop loot for crap is rather sad. Plus, you can only kill them once a day..

Lets put it this way..

Either way, both afterbosses drop only like, 1/6th of the loot Terramorphous would drop, and thats without the crystals (that don't even drop from the 2nd one..apparently a glitch), and Hyperius only drops about 8 crystals per kill. That means you'd have to do a weeks worth of runs to get the cheapest item (which is a relic), and 3 weeks worth to get any of the weapons/shields, which are pretty much legendaries -1. All in all, the bosses are pretty much a bust for now.

So far the DLC is enjoyable. I just purchased the Season Pass so hopefully the rest are good.

Haven't had a chance to fight Hyperius, he's been destroying me...going to farm to get the legendary turtle shield and the babymaker, apparently these are key to soloing him. Waiting on some friends to finish up the DLC then we'll see what's what.

I enjoyed the storyline, but I wish they had increased the level cap by at least 5. There was absolutely zero reason for me to do any of the side quests. And the loot at the end of the storyline was pretty darn good. Nothing I could use, incidentally, but lots of blue and purple items.

Great minds think alike! I thought to myself, "what are the odds I am going to get all of the dlc for this game?" and the answer was "pretty good" so I sprung for the pass.

I go and respec before i fight Hyperius, and put most of my points towards the Survival tree (as Axton). His fight is more about being able to take the blasts instead of pure damage output. On normal, his first blast usually just takes out my Bee shield, and the second removes ~1/3 of my health. That usually regenerates back fast enough before the next wave of blasts. The next thing is destroying all but one of his minions. That way, damaging the last minion enough causes it to shield itself and make him vulnerable. Then i just unload into him with E-tech tediore SMG reloads. A couple rounds of that, and he's usually done.

Keyword there is 'normal' mode.

I farmed a babymaker today so I'm fairly certain I would destroy him on normal mode. On normal, put as many points as you can into the gunpowder tree, get all those grenade damage boosts, get a grenadier mod, and you can literally three hit him before the fight actually starts.

I guess fighting him in normal is good for getting your crystals but if you have the fortune of getting a seraph gun, won't it be far less leveled than 48-50?

Solo him in TVHM then come back and talk to me. :weird:

EDIT: Upon further investigation, it seems the seraph items are total junk and seem to be missing their extra features, IE the features that make legendary equipment legendary.

He's level 52 on either mode, and all the stuff he'll drop is level 50. Terramorphous is that way as well. Its just on TVHM he'll have an extra bot, hurt harder, and have more health.

Derp. But it seems I'd have to redo the whole DLC to get to that point in normal as well, as I completed it in TVHM.

Yeah but I read about a nasty bug with the new bosses where you die permanently and your character gets deleted.

Happened to my lvl 50 gaige, although not on DLC (dont remember what I was doing though)

I'm not into farming weeks for gear thats worse than my current stuff AND there is nothing to do endgame EXCEPT that, so what's the point..especially when it's not fun? lol.

I've killed Leviathan three times now. I've got "decent" weapons from the vault, but nothing spectacular. Just small upgrades. What I really need is a good shield.

Since I'm only level 34, I doubt I can take the other final boss solo. :(

New DLC was released Tuesday I believe. Played 30 minutes of it today, so far so good. Mr. Torque is Hulk Hogan except cool.

BTW: Been farming The Bee shield. I'm level 39. Best shield today was a level 29. Crappy shield.

Found my first orange today, it was a level 14 WTF shield. I'm level 50, FML.

Finished both DLC's main quests, definitely worth it, there's still a ton to be done though.

Went and got the Campaign of Carnage a couple days ago. Easily my favorite DLC so far, mostly because of Mr. Torgue himself and the funny-as-hell lines. And the Raid boss is decent. Not stupid, like Gee, but not overly easy like Terramorphous was.

I liked this DLC more than the first. Very easy, but pretty fun. Nice to see Moxxie back (who doesn't want to hear her?).

Still can't get a good shield. Only level 38 though.

How did you guys get to level 50 so quick? Playthrough 2?
