Well almost, I didn't hit above about 8500 with Keris against the KQ when I went there for fun. I wasn't trying to max my DPS though.



Update. First, I have now made over 50m from this sharp burst of bossing. Feels good man.
Second, two more boss pet drop rates have been released. Araxxor, 1/500 with a threshold of 200. Nex, 1/2000 with a threshold of 400. Ouch.

I actually didn't notice that the first time through. But even with boosts like sara brews, one's hp didn't go much higher back then.

Getting through the kills, with my only luck coming from GP drops and not boss pets.

The Araxyte pet that I've unlocked is 1 of 8 Araxxor related pets. How it works:

Pet 1: 1/900 or so drop rate, or less if you gamble your loot (I accidentally gambled and won)
Pets 2-6: Unlocked by performing certain achievements. Namely, 1 per type of Araxxor fought (Mage, melee, Ranged - This will be the first one unlocked as well), then 3 for different achievements related to each path way.

After that, you can unlock the boss pets from the most recent update at the 1/500 rate.

So even though I've now got two pets unlocked, I still haven't touched any of the new boss pets yet.

Thanks mate. Got it in the middle of a huge amount of time at work where I was barely able to play. I think this task was where I finally unlocked the Hydrix gem from Soul Reaper, letting me make an easy 17m from making an amulet of souls (Best statted hybrid amulet in game, boosts healing from SS).



Update: Unlocked the most challenging Araxyte pet. Just need the Ranged and Melee versions of them now, and I've completed the first set of Araxxor pets.
