I saved most of them for P2 to keep the replayability going.

I haven't done them all but I daresay I've done most of them. Some are really, really awesome (splinter group, anyone?). I purposefully left some for the next playthrough but I've been playing the game less both due to a harsh workweek and loss of interest. And a need to kick some ass with the Detroit Lions on Madden 13 since the idiots can't seem to do that irl...

I honestly don't get what you all find so similar to BL1, there's a continued storyline, each mission has its own dialogue with a truckload of corny jokes pumped into most. There's a great sense of attachment if you had bothered at all to listen to BL1 missions, and BL2 plays greatly on that.

I personally LOVE the direction they've gone, kept the feel of the old game but with all new maps, more guns, different skillsets... Has anyone even reached TVHM yet? Most baddise are reskinned, renamed and a hell of a lot tougher.

I'm level 39 and I didn't even "farm" anything, I just played missions, listened to dialogue and laughed. my. ass. off. TVHM is a bit hard on my own though. :<

Yup. Bout halfway to level 45 here. Just trying to find a BA assault rifle and finish the game twice. If you noticed, there was a mission labeled for level 50 post game, I assume it's another boss like crawmerax...

I immediately thought I was playing BL1 in the first 5 minutes where it introduced Knuckledragger.

I like the game, but I don't get the addiction I get with other games where I CAN'T put it down. I play it a few hours a day and what is most annoying is TVHM. Sure I expect a challenge, but I do not expect to have 15k shields and 15k HP and be 1-hit by a regular enemy equal or +/- 1 level. That plus I'm getting so pissed off with motionjoy refusing to work right for my Ps3 controller doesn't help lol.

Anyways, fun game but not my top 10 or whatever. I still enjoy it.

My thoughts exactly. TVHM is nigh impossible, and the rewards aren't that great. I seem to be having more luck than you, but that's probably because nine times out of ten I toss out my turret and hide.

I agree with both quoted sections there.

I still have the urge to play it. At work last night a friend and I started talking about Madden which lead to me dying to play BL2 when I get home. Well I got home and crashed on the couch. This five 12 hour shifts a week is killing me and my gaming!

Yep. Lv 47 and nearing the end of True vault hunter mode. Then I'll just be awaiting the next DLC I guess. Or playing Zer0.

But god damn, was fighting bunker the second time around hard as hell. I destroyed him the first time, this time I lost 300k+ in money meaning I must have died at least 15 times. >:O

Just beat PT1. Shooting that smug twit in the face was quite satisfying. Wearing his mask and creeping out my co-op buddies is even more satisfying.

We should sometime soon gather up a 4-person co-op group. Anyone else down?

I'm lvl 45 gunzerker and have to do side quests since I am too low to finish the end of the game. Had lvl 36 enemies still own me so easily, while I have 25k shields and 20k HP at this point. I find that totally silly when they give 1xp a kill.

Enough ranting I guess lol, but it's mad annoying sometimes.

The mech units are incredibly hard without a corrosive weapon. I always make sure I have one. It started to get impossible once I defeated the Bunker.

Depends. Who has it on PS3? Cuz that's what I have. And I still won't have reliable internet for awhile...

Opportunity was hard for me both times around, but moreso the second time. I died multiple times on both playthroughs.

That's outrageous. :?: Does the gunzerker really suck that hard? I mean yeah, I rely on my turret pretty heavily but I can fend for myself with my trusty Torgue ARs most of the time. And they work just fine against the robots, so does my Jakobs AR.

When I was looking at everyone's skilltree I had decided that the Gunzerker was the lamest class. There are a lot of little things that help me survive, like health regen upon damaging an enemy, Metal Storm and Onslaught being active after a kill, a relic that lets me fight for my life more, and a turtle shield with a capacity of 38k. You have to choose skills/equipment that compliment eachother and the way you want to play. The respec is there for a reason, haha.

I've little played the other three so I can only talk about the Gunzerker. I wanted to rush through smaller side quests to get them done quickly, but apparently you can't do that. I figured enemies get lower damage the higher you get but that's not the case.

Gunzerker can spec into three trees -> Gunlust (minimal zerking), Rampage (High zerking), Brawn (Tanking)

Gunlust -> Money shot and down but not out are the best skills here, with the final two skills also pretty good. Money shot gives you a big damage boost on the last clip of every gun while down but not out lets you gunzerk while you're in FFYL.

Other two skills give you gun/melee boost while gunzerk is on cooldown. Problem with this is lack of skill points. In order to maximum on this, you need to max out the cooldown on Zerking from the Rampage tree to keep this boost active a lot. Lastly theres NKLO. When you kill an enemy, all excess damage is tranferred to next enemy. Excellent skill but it's the last on tree. Personally, I stop at money shot & Down but not out.

Rampage is where most of my skills are at and most of them are uesful. Chance not to use ammo, longer zerking, cooldown zerking, killing enemy adds more zerking time, shoot enemy reduces zerking, throw 2 nades at once when zerking (consumes 1 nade only), 80% recoil reduction & 30% accuracy when zerking, and adding ammunition back to your gun when killing an enemy.

Brawn tree I find not very helpful. I looked at it, and you get a maximum of 7.0% health regen, but that's when you're zerking. Otherwise it's 0.5%. When you die so quick, I find it useless. I usually just point a point into first skill to get 0.1% regen.

Soooo yeah. I beat TVHM and have hit the level cap with the commando. The optional end-game boss is HARD. But with a little research and loot farming I'm sure I can beat him eventually...it just doesn't seem that the rewards are that great.

The warrior was pretty hard the second time around. The first time I beat him without dying, but that was mostly due to luck. This time I got so frustrated that I just tossed my longbow turret from the ledge and repeated til he was at like 5% health, lolol.

Upon research of the best items currently in the game it's clear that the best is yet to come.

I may also just start a game with Zer0. Or buy Assassin's Creed III.
