Oasis was 100% intact. It was anything on the ground that seemed potentially destroyed.

I am almost 100% certain I had the server on a whitelist with our villager names provided. But for some reason it shows False on the properties right now.
Le ugh.
EDIT: AND our Whitelist has turned blank. What the hell? I know for a fact I didn't change the settings, and Eadwulf wouldn't have opened it up without notification. I'm going to go ahead and guess it was the update that did it. (EDIT2: I know for a fact I'll have missed a couple names when trying to get the Whitelist refilled, so feel free to post your name in the signups thread! >.>)

So the world got stopped, saved for an hour, and restarted. Then quite a few names appeared that plainly aren't ours. When I have a bit more fortitude for it I'll work out all the individual names, but... as of now, peace SHOULD be restored.
I hope. The damage itself can't be undone as far as I know. :(

Our server's IP address is the old, recycled address of a PvP server. An unexpected restart, whether by hacking or not, caused its players to flood in. They saw our quaint little building server and wet batshit Fuzzy Bunny crazy destroying it. Because of their previous trolling and punishment for it, and some unknown server restart giving them permission, we pretty much suffered at the hands of kids with no self restraint.
... Is there any way to report names like this to perma-ban them from Minecraft? I'm pretty sure there's a global IP address blacklist of some kind we can get these guys on...
I hate the lack of backup availability in Aim2Game. Can't download past certain sizes. :\

Also, what a derpy thing to get upset about. If they wanted to grief us, the tools were pretty much there. They had creative access, they could get fire starters naturally. It's not on you. :?:

...So after all this destruction I find my house burnt down, which sucks and all, but the silver lining was that the mechanisms for my secret doors survived! That is until someone destroyed them sometime today??? What gives?
I'm sure I can fix it but still! (And all the fires were put out last night so I know it wasn't that)

Never mind, turns out everywhere was re-greifed! Not just some of my redstone, but lava in the train station (again, I fixed it last night), a BIG hole in lunars roof, and oasis was also messed up.

But I have declared tomorrow unofficial fix day! So I will try to right some of the wrongs.

The re-griefing happened between my post last night and the server restart earlier today.
It was my fault they had that window. But after the restart, it seems successful that nobody off the whitelist can get in the server.

The pig riding zone has been doused. Pigs and bacon not accounted for.
Climbing the ladder to heaven is now possible, even if there's no platform to stand on.

Riptide's Night Sky Ride is open for business.

Desert Town is mostly restored, except for the Town Hall and pre-ruined burned down house.
Oasis is once again an oasis.

I added an ice rink into one of the spots where they basically decimated the ground, can't remember what was there originally. Probably just walk space. Feel free to change it back or around if you want, I just can't remember what was there to start with.
And the café is probably wrong, but at least not an eyesore now.
The lava jump course now has a roof and walls again.

I think the only really irreversible loss is the jungle town. So many pathways just randomly tore out. x.x

Aw man, you got to the airship before I could get on after work today. :p

Not everything has been totally fixed inside and out, but the structures have at least been repaired to the best of our abilities and memories. If nothing else it looks prettier on the surface now! :3
