Haha nice, you found that! That's actually always been there, since I had people spawn at the top of the Tower and I wanted a quick way to get down so I could test out the Village when I restarted the game over and over. :)

As for Solais--I'm currently not keeping track of it, because
A) I don't have Registration/Login in effect (that requires a database and LOTS of planning)
B) I'm probably going to change up the drop tables when I make stuff that can be bought
C) I gotta replace Phanto with something else anyway because, y'know, copyright and Super Mario Bros. 2
But however much you had might be the most! :P How much did you have?

P.S.
How did the game play? I tried to get four of us to play it yesterday but it was unbelievably laggy to the point of being unplayable. :( But at the same time all four of us were patching StarCraft II so yeah that might've been a big part of the problem. -_-

that's.... genius! shortcuts :)

ok. well I'll be sure to camp now before they get harder to earn as drops >.< and so far I have --- oh! they go away after you log out. welp. I have 0.

it ran smooth. Cam logged in while I was touring around. That didn't effect the gameplay at all.
I like that when you chat, you can hear everyone where ever they are. you don't have to be within a certain radius to hear them.

spoiler: hidden is a map of area 12.
Hidden:
You start on the very right hand side, near the blue line. The door at the left hand side will get you out and back to the village.

Market just made the first guide! A pioneer, he is. Yoda, that last sentence sounded like. Go, you must.

Yeah, really sorry. ^_^; Player saving isn't in effect yet.

That's great. The four of us at once on the same home network was making it really bad, but I think it was all on our end, not the server's end. I logged in just now and everything was fine. Regardless, I'm going to try to make it better so it doesn't need to send as much data all the time; that should hopefully make it run more smoothly. If I ever want to have more people playing this at once, it can't break down because there's so many people! You might notice that even in RuneScape, when it gets SUPER crowded in an area, you can tell on the minimap that it's only loading people in a very tight square around you.

Eventually it will probably be like a normal MMO, in which you can only attack monsters and not other players (unless you're dueling or something). That update might come sooner rather than later...

Holy cow, Market, that's awesome! I can't imagine how much time you spent on that. Can you see the resemblance with the Symphony of the Night Clock Tower area it's based off of? :D

Reward him, I should.
The next release is going to include a new map area (hopefully an introduction to, like, mining or something?) with will have a lethal pit of death with pointy spikes! Do you have any other current feature requests? :P I'll see what I can do.

umm. maybe like 2-3hrs? I got rained out at work. I had to sit in my room all day :S.
wow! they are remarkably similar! I wasn't sure if there was anything above the phantos, cause I could only jump so far from the ledge that is half way up the clock tower. also, I cant wait to see what you are building to the left of the base of the clocktower :)

New minor release (#5). Not the big release I was expecting, but I wanted to get some of the smaller back-end changes going live before I moved on. This is mainly performance enhancements and whatnot, and I added in one of those enemies covered in spikes that charges at you when it sees you then retreats slowly afterward and can't be killed. You know the one.

Also, getting hit by that guy (or other players with swords) will send you flying backwards, which is neat.

Next up: Map expansion and dialog boxes, and perhaps the ability to select your own respawn point too!

Top hats, huh...

Also, I made some pictures from what I worked on today so I figured a couple of you would enjoy them:

(The answer is http://poorshark.com/2012/02/13/041-not-a-celebrity/, there's no limit, and because the game is incredible and easily my favorite of the entire Ace Attorney series.)

The button you hover your mouse over is also going to change to a greenish color but that's not done yet. Tomorrow probably.

So I want to add Mining/Smithing/Crafting to Crissaegrim but the whole bronze->iron->steel->etc thing is way overdone, so I'm making up metal/ore names. If you're interested, throw me as many as you want. The requirement is you have to come up with the name yourself so it's not plagiarizing something. Winning names (or modified versions thereof) will end up in Crissaegrim. :)

What I'm going to try to do is something like the ten metals Jagex made for Dungeoneering (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dungeoneering/Smithing). Somehow, Novite and Bathus stick in your head as being #1 and #2 ("novite" is very close to "novice", there's no way that wasn't done on purpose--it works well).

Adamantium! Oh. Wait.
Brontium?
Fossils are pretty tough. How about fossilious?
Or do you want something corny. Like rigidium?

You should add fools gold as a random worthless disappointment drop :P
