If Microsoft is still so dead-set on the Kinect, I'm done with them. And everything I've heard about the 720 is a real turn off. PS4 may be the way to go.

Who the hell preorders a console?

A console's performance (over a lifetime) depends largely on its library, and launch libraries aren't exactly stellar.

I always wait at least a year, and even then the library is still pretty limited.
