So did they seriously put TF2 hats into the game and a store to customize the bots?

Played through all of the main campaign.

It was awesome, definitely satisfying. Tons of cool new elements. The new characters fit in quite well. Going to give co-op a try later this week.

I will say that some of the jokes felt a little bit forced, though. Not to an annoying degree, though.

EDIT: THE COMPANION CUBE FROM PORTAL 1 SURVIVED INCINERATION! Its design is different from the cubes in Portal 2, so you know it's the original one.

I've gotten pretty far yesterday, chapter 7 or 8 I think

I'll probably finish it later tonight, and then I'm gonna give the multiplayer a go, assuming my friend is done with the singleplayer by then, or that he's willing to take some time off from the singleplayer

The plot has also undergone quite a few twists, I'm really loving it

Game was pretty awesome.

I spoiled the main story for myself, but it was still cool shooting a portal to the moon to get rid of wheatly.

Co-op was also fun, all the trials leading up to you and your buddy opening a vault full of cloned humans to be used as test subjects. Being told every step along the way that you will be saving humans.

Just finished it, and it was awesome

Also the ending was quite satisfying, I guess it's possible that there'll be a sequel, but who knows

There is one thing I didn't see though, which is the tubes that suck everything up, there was a trailer of it but I never saw it in the game (or was this just a cinematic in the trailer instead of a gameplay element?)

Now it's time for the multiplayer

Loved the single player campaign.

Am enraged at the Professor Portal trophy because I'm pretty sure everyone I know already has portal and will probably start the co-op before I finish it.

Dammit, I read that thinking it would only involve single player spoilers.

After seeing the trade-in value of the PS3 version drop from $35 to $28 within a day methinks PC players bought the PS3 version, got their free PC copy, then sold it back to Amazon at no cost. (I'd totally do this if I had a PS3.)

I would if my PC HDD wasn't full. It's a pretty good deal.

Only read if you're about 6 or 7 chapters in I think. I'm not even done yet, I think I'm on "The Itch," whichever chapter that is, but you could be a couple chapters earlier and this wouldn't spoil anything.

Hidden:
So, when you're making your escape from ol' Gladdy, there's this turret on a conveyor belt going to an incinerator that says "I'm special." "Do not make lemonade." "Get Mad." "Her name is Caroline."

Later on, you hear Cave Johnson give a speech about when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade, get mad. And he's strongly associated with Caroline, whoever this mystery person is.

Do you think that random "special" turret was implanted with the failed attempt at recording Cave's personality?

Actually, she gets mentioned a few more times afterwards (or at least once more, I'm not 100% sure where you are, from what you say I think you should already know who and what she is)

Also from what I understood Caroline was Cave Johnson's assistant or something similar, you hear her speak a few times in the background of CJ's recorded messages
