I've had a near death experience today too, death by boredom. The power is out in parts of the house meaning I can't use the desktop and am on the laptop. Usually I pass the Woodcutting time by playing GW2 or watching some South Park. Can't do that on the laptop

Edit: A few hours later and it's back on. Huzzah!

Second time since the main game? Congrats. Wc is my favorite non-combat stat that i got to 99 early on.
So jagex states they will raise the price of membership again, except for those who don't unsubscribe...

Hidden: 

If people are worried about the price of membership, you can always buy bonds in-game to pay for it.

I was able to keep a completely new account in membership just by mixing unfinished potions with a scroll of cleansing from Dungeoneering.

Wouldn't work for Ironman accounts though.

Ironman accounts can buy bonds on GE and they can receive them for free in trades because people in HLF were whining, they wanted to pay for their ironman accounts with their main accounts.

The increased price of bonds will also affect the price in game, they'll need to pay maybe 2m more for them, which means even more tedious work. But if you don't let your membership run out for more than 14 days you'll keep paying the price you're paying now so it doesn't really affect the regular player.

Was just saying that it's very little work to get a bond in-game for those who let their membership slip. Of course, the best moneymakers are all P2P.

Have cut down a fair bit since I got 99 Woodcut and just working on random stats and quests for now. Up to 1117 total and 89 QP. Looks like I'm going to lose my #1 in Woodcut soon, although right now I'm cutting oaks for Construction just to mess with them

Lol, several people lost their ironman status and were removed from the highscores for cheating. One of them was ranked #1 in Slayer and ranked #4 overall. He was also first to Quest Cape

Nah as in breaking the rules of ironman (i.e no trading). Abusing and exploiting loopholes to gain an advantage. They weren't banned, just removed from the highscores and had their ironman status removed; they're now just regular players.

Basically people would use their main accounts to refill stock at shops so their ironman could stay there indefinitely buying stock. Huge advantage for skills like crafting which basically rely on world-hopping and buying stock from shops. I imagine most of the ones dealt with had high crafting, I know two of the high profile ones had 85+ (one with 91).

These two guys both had 40+ days played time too after like 70 days of ironman. So over 12 hours a day average.
