Seems to only be a problem on certain PS3s.

I'm on Xbox and I've had a few freezes now. Granted, it was after the game was going for 36+ hours... But still.

Also, waiting takes a lot longer than usual, so maybe it's not a PS3 exclusive thing.

This, this, this. The game is laggy and buggy as all hell, but I'm still playing the crap out of it.

Err, currently level 36 with MAX smithing! :D Though the dragon armor isn't as strong as I'd hoped, and in all honestly, looks kinda lame compared to my Ebony set. But that might just be personal taste. I smithed a set anyway and gave it to my companion. I have every intention of wearing a set of dragonscale armor when I get to training light armor.

Also, the sheer number of quests and dungeons in this game are boggling.

And it seems companions don't die for good, they turn up again at their place of origin. No telling how long it took for me, but two of them that I watched die and picked up their dropped stuff showed back up at the companions house. Could be because both are 'leaders' and paramount to finishing the questline.

And yeah, where the heck do you find daedric hearts in this game? :spite:

And thanks for the info, animal...I have a few saves I could delete probably, maybe that would help with the lag.

@ Henner: On the ps3 it automatically installs on your hard drive. :?:

Won't do anything.

Also, Ezcal has it for Xbox 360, and installing it onto your HDD causes the game to lag for some reason. That's what I assume Henner was referring to.

And I thought he was talking about how if/when you install game data loading times are usually faster.

It's not the number of save files that's the problem, it's the size of the one currently being used.

Nah, there's apparently a bug for the 360 that causes the game to lag if it's installed to the HDD iirc.

Oh yea, sorry, I was talking about the 360. I don't have any lag issues (yet) and I have it installed. Was just a suggestion.

I've had no lag troubles yet thankfully, playing it on the ps3.

I play on two different 360's, it's installed one one, and not on the other, and I have the same slow waiting time problem on both. I don't really have a problem with it, so long as I can still play the game. :D

It's definitely a Bethesda game all right

I haven't had any lag issues or freezing or bugs in general, really

The only glitches in my game is the dumb-as-shit AI (which is a feature), to be honest this has been one of their best launches in years, so much better than Fallout 3/New Vegas or Oblivion

Sometimes my spells fail and don't leave trails, but that's the only bug I've encountered so far

I've encountered a bug where when I'm leaping off a cliff with my horse, the horse will stay in jumping mode and looks as if it's flying. Other than that, the game runs great.

I've run into several bugs, but none that really hinder the overall game...bugs like:

I had given a mage follower some equipment to wear, she put on the ring and circlet I gave her and took her robes off and ran around in her skivvies. :?: I tried to give her several different sets, but she wouldn't wear any of them. Glitch fixed itself, after a few quests she was wearing her clothes again automatically.

My friend and I were playing and in Whiterun, a character literally went zooming by me through the air, frozen in a standing position...we couldn't figure out what had happened for the life of us. He disappeared into a wall.

Other glitches like almost falling into space when trying to scale mountains. I get it, Bethesda. It isn't meant to be done. But I'm gonna do it anyway.

So yeah, the glitches I've found are more funny than anything.

Just like with past titles, you can't expect a game of this scope to be bugless.

I also have it installed on my 360, and the only time it lags is when I open the menus. Other than that, little to no lag.

I'm on PC and there are no serious bugs that I've seen yet. And the loading times are fine.

Only complaint is sneaking. You can seriously go right behind a guard, crouch, and they walk around you as if you're invisible.
