Wintersday has been pretty fun.

The jumping puzzle drove me and my terrible fps insane. I got it out a few times in the end though.

I finished levelling up my Charr Guardian to 80 the other day. I decided to level him to ~70 before doing any of the Trahearne's Personal Story missions, with the intent of doing them in a straight run and hopefully making the whole thing a little more coherent. It's had... mixed results, but so far I've only been annoyed by a couple of bugged instances, so the plan succeeded.

Still, it's a hell of a lot easier to do the solo missions with a Guard than it was as a Ranger.

My highest level alt is level 11 Time is not something I have a lot of.. Apey on the other hand.. Would be a millionare if he got paid an hourly rate

Any spare time I do have I just jump into WvWvW or sPvP

Is this game worth looking into? Would be nice playing with Villagers again. FYI, I only read page 1 and page 7 of this topic and never played any GW games.

Sadly, there's not many villagers on GW2; the guild I set up is inactive. It doesn't help that the guild system currently isn't much more than a glorified friends list.

The game itself is rather fun (it's held my attention, at least). It's very streamlined as typical MMO experiences go. Things like level progression continue at a logical, linear rate, and as such there's very little grinding whatsoever. Your mileage may vary as to whether you enjoy the campaign storyline, however. Can't tell you much about PvP; I only go into WvW once a month to do my monthly tasks and that's it.

One of the big selling points for many players (not all obviously) was the PvP systems. I think it's worth a look either way Hojunhu, there is no monthly fee, and you can try sPvP (structured PvP) at any level. Personally I enjoy WvW, it's more of a zerg v zerg for the most part, but there is definitely room for the soloer.

sPvP is a much smaller scale and is small group vs small group, where more actual PvP takes place.

As for PvE, well I love it, but it's definitely personal taste. I made a pink unicorn bow yesterday

I made sure I maxed whatever two crafts I chose on each toon to make sure I cashed in on the exp.

Oh and yeah I gave in and started leveling another alt. Up to lvl 40, guardian. Loving this profession (class) so far.

Well that's a bit of a stretch, in my defence. You could just as easily call him a smurf at that point.

Anyway, I tried modelling his colour scheme after a blue lotus flower. Green is a predictable colour for an anthropomorphic plant.

So I just finished Path 4 of Arah after several hours and an indeterminate amount of rage. I don't know what sick put that together, but that was the most sadistic thing I have ever encountered in an online game. I'm noticing a "Die, you filthy casual" attitude behind most of the dungeons in this game...

Never did Arah myself but yes even in the lower dungeons there is that attitude.

Took a break from the game but returning in the next week or so. Much love on the currency wallet; something games seem to conveniently only think about introducing a few months/years after launch.
