I have a necromancy robe that regenerates my magic 75% faster and an ammulet that regenerates my magic 25% fast. But provides no armour. :D

Why don't you just go to the blacksmith in any town and buy out the iron ingots and the leather bands (or whatever they are called) and make iron daggers? It's not as if money is hard to come by in Skyrim.

yep thats how i power leveled my smithing to 100. infact i would quick port from town to town buying ore and ingots and buy leather then turn them into the leather strips as it works out a few gold cheaper.

I'm only 2 to 3 hours in and I can already tell this is one of the best games I've ever played. Nord dual wielding magic and sword. :D

Not feeling it right now :( It just seems so overwhelming.

It did take 2 years for me to appreciate Oblivion though.

I am really liking how my Nord character is developing. I will most likely make her a heavy armor warrior type. I like using two handed weapons, and switching to archery from time to time. I have to work on getting my smithing up though. Killa showed me recently that I can just store my dragon bones and scales in the chest at the Riverwood inn. Woot, no more carrying around loads of stuff!

Or you could...you know...buy a house. :?: The one in Whiterun is only 5 grand plus a few more grand to deck it out.

@Killa: I do both, but mining is a cost-efficient way to raise smithing. I'd rather spend money on getting training in other skills or on soul gems, or other things I need rather than smithing.

Got to level 23 today I believe. Has anyone else had to deal with fighting two dragons at once? Because that's a bit of an annoyance.

i did mine a bit but i had 9k gold so i just decided to buy all the shops out and power level it, as for the soul Gems i got promoted to Arch Mage at the wizard college so everything in the Arch mage room belongs to me so i have like 80 ish soul gems filled from petty to grand.

also yeh i had 2 dragons at once it was pretty easy tbh, but i had 1 frost dragon now that was beast must have done 900 damage on me before i killed it. Also when i killed it i noticed mu companion got killed so i had to restart it. also it dose help that my sword dose 49 damage +22 fire damage and i got 308 armour oh and im a dark elf so i got a 50% resistance to fire.

I prefer Whiterun for my smithing fun... Even though the enchanting table is so far away, there are two shopkeepers at the Blacksmith, and it's right next to my house. There's also a general store just down the road for all the jewelry I make.

Does anyone else (npc) barter with them? Some shop keepers are out of gold to buy things off me already.

Or you could marry the chick in the Riverwood Trader. Get a cut of the profits and access to the storage upstairs. 8)

Have you found that Golden Claw for her brother, the Shopkeeper? Once you return it to him, she'll be more open, and will in fact make comments about what a strapping man you are.
