Just picked this up last night, played a little bit.

DEAR SWEET LORD.

The soundtrack is insane, the voice acting excellent, and the cutscenes and art direction are all Studio Ghibli. The story is pretty good so far.

That said, I played for almost an hour and haven't gotten to any gameplay yet. Here's hoping it's fun :awesome:

I've seen Inthelittlewood's youtube videos of it, and it looks absolutely AMAZING. It's a shame my PSP is broken and the PSVita is so damn expensive, otherwise I'd of already bought this game.

Oh man Jan, you just got zinged by Riptide. How much does THAT suck?

Well, statistically speaking, slightly more than a giant suckusaur. A dire one.

I was really hoping they would localize the DS version, or create a 3DS version. It seems like a game I'd enjoy more on handhelds than consoles. Must look absolutely amazing on PS3, though.

Anyway, keep us posted on your thoughts!

This may have taken the title of "blue's alltime favorite JRPG" from Chrono Trigger.

Combat = Pokemon/FFXII. Boss battles = Kingdom Hearts II. The art is freaking glorious. Soundtrack is glorious. Story is awesome. And there's an overworld. I HAVEN'T SEEN ONE OF THEM SINCE THE 90's.

Family friendly stand-up comedy.
Spoilers start at 2:45, so stop there.

Well, I'm just about done with the main story material. Rumor has it there's about 20 hours of post game, but I still feel confident in this statement: It's good all the way through. Buy it.

Epic necro.

I bought this game maybe a month ago and it is incredible. It's actually winning out over The Last of Us for playing time.

Thanks for posting this. I was just looking for a new RPG to play. Good ones are few and far between anymore.
