Neptunia probably but that's Pyro's fault.

Pokemon is a much, much deeper/complex game than people give it credit for. I was trying to build a master team in Ruby but it turns out it's pretty freaking difficult with EV/Nature training.

I understand. It's a very fun game but it's target is children. At least outside of Japan it seems. I think the show and game is more for 14 to boys as it's shonen. But all genders and ages can enjoy this like manga.

The original manga (season 0 in the show) was dark as all hell and morbid. A guy literally gets lit on fire and burns to death.
