Basically if you donate at least $1, you'll get Darksiders, Metro 2033, Red Faction: Armageddon, and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts & Tales of Valor.

If you donate more than the average (curently at $5.61) you'll also receive Saints Row III.

Donated $6 even tho i got metro and saints row 3, but i gifted it to myself. The metro game i lose because Steam will not provide extra giftable copies of games you already own.

But the saints row 3 and the other games are split into 2 codes you redeem, now i got a spare copy of saints row 3 xD

Bought it. 4 good games for that price is hard to pass up.

I say 4 because Red Faction Armageddon is just outright awful.

Put most of my purchase towards the charity.

Getting this for two reasons.

1) Darksiders
2) To have Company of Heroes on Steam. (Have it on Gamestop Impulse, but that's a relatively crappy application)

Put most of the money to charity cause THQ is rich enough.

Clearly you no nothing

Quote:
In May 2012, THQ reported a net loss of $239.9 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012, $100 million more than the previous fiscal year's loss of $136.1 million. THQ filed a notice with the SEC on May 25 for a June 29 stockholder's meeting, where THQ asked stockholders to approve a reverse split of the company's common stock

Quote:
By November 13, 2012, THQ reported that they defaulted over a $50 million loan from Wells Fargo and were on the verge of bankruptcy. With its stock price having plummeted from early November values bordering $3 to its current position, and with long-term liabilities adding to the figure of $250 million, THQ were forced to push the preliminary release dates of their flagship titles, Company of Heroes 2 and Metro: Last Light, into March 2013. In an effort to raise more money, THQ partnered with Humble Bundle to launch the Humble THQ Bundle on November 29, 2012. As of December 2, 2012, THQ sold nearly 575,000 bundles, raising around $3 million; THQ CEO Jason Rubin also made a purchase, spending $1,050 on the bundle

(Financial stuff)

Shocking, isn't it folks? Probably explains why they were so quick to get the relevant development team working on Saints Row 4 right after releasing SR3.

They've added more games to the pack. Those that already bought it receive the additions for free.

They've added more items, bringing the total package up to 9 games ($230 worth). However, these items are included in the 'over average' donations with Saints Row III.

The original package:
  • Darksiders
  • Metro 2033
  • Red Faction: Armageddon
  • Company of Heroes
  • Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
  • Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor
  • Saints Row III (for donations over the average cost)

The additions include (for donations over the average cost):
  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Game of the Year Edition
  • Titan Quest

I've purchased the package :3 fun.

Well, apparently THQ's stock value went up by about 40% since having HumbleBundle host this. I guess that went well for them.

Put in $6. Even though some games I can't play due to system limitations, so far it has been worth it. Dawn of War is actually pretty fun.

Well, Volition has been acquired by a different parent company, and they intend to continue working on Saints Row 4 at least.

Sadly, Vigil (Darksiders) didn't get bought out, which is kind of shocking and sad.

Some of the comments were saying Take Two had bought either Vigil or Darksiders, don't know the validity of them though.

During THQ's asset sale, the Saints Row and Metro IPs went to Koch Media and Deep Silver, Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal and the rights to the South Park game, and Crytek snapped up Homefront.

Sega bought the Relic Entertainment and got there lp, i just hope they keep releasing the dawn of war franchise. They got company of hero's to, basicly RTS stuff.

Sega bid $26.6 million for Relic and Company of Heroes (and maybe Warhammer 40,000). Zenimax Media, Bethesda's parent company, only just lost out with a bid of $26.3 million.
