It’s Friday, so it must be Behind the Scenes time once again! This week: Al Kharid - Under Construction.

Al Kharid is under construction and, this week, we go Behind the Scenes to discover how a massive project like this goes from an idea in someone's head to actually making it into RuneScape. We meet artists, modellers and animators and look at the creative process step by step. And yes, there are loads of sneak peeks at the all new Al Kharid!

Good effort to be praised, but seriously Al Kharid needs more activities, in F2P, its a pretty much dead zone

I just skimmed the video but the concept art looks very impressive! What a change this would be. Al Kharid kind of feels like my last section of nostalgic RS, where there's nothing but a vast F2P desert, and I'm wandering north through it for the first time in a vain attempt to find Varrock...

This is fantastic for Al Kharid! The town really deserves an overhaul but and it's nice that they are adding more quests to the area, as Al Kharid is pretty dead :-D

Or walking around the fence cause you don't want to spend 1/2 your money on a toll gate.

Or because you didn't HAVE any money on you because Lumbridge didn't have the two different banks it has today and the closest one was Draynor! :P

Same here! They dropped like 2 at a time, MAYBE. I was like ALL THIS TO GET THROUGH THE GAAAAATE.

And then when it was free because you finished the quest, you were so happy.
