They announced that the Myreque series would be extended in the behind the scenes.

Yep, they even mentioned that the people you take with you will be able to level and stuff like that. I do hope it'll be possible to get the lumberjack clothing without having to cross your fingers that you'll get the "repair the bridge while zombies come out of the river" event. The behind the scenes mentions you'll be able to choose your rewards after each trek, but I'm not sure whether this is looked at as a reward.
