Well, one day I decided to forgo checking RV.

Apparently I then decided to not come back for five months. Sorry!

I've changed pace and taken a job in Loss Prevention which is a lot of fun, but god damn is it HARD. Catching shoplifters in the act of shoplifting is actually not at all easy.

I moved to Baltimore almost a year ago exactly, and I hate it here. I cannot wait to leave this shithole. Maybe it's just because I'm not from here, but hell, I lived in Virginia and I'm not from there and I loved it there. This city is every bit as crappy as the media made it out to be during and after the riots.

I'm exhausted at the uber-politically correct vacuum we've trapped ourselves in, the whole gay marriage thing and 999/1000 people putting rainbow colors over their profile pic because they need to be part of something, goddamn it makes me sick. The confederate flag thing and everything else. We've done this to ourselves, it wasn't the baby boomers or the greatest generation or even generation X. It was us (the twenty something SJWs and the internet), we've made our whiny bed and now we will lay in it. And it sucks.

Small scale shoplifting is indeed hard to catch. But it's particularly fun to catch them at checkout itself when they <redacted> and take it through a damn checkout service designed to sense weight discrepancies.

I'm up to trying to buy a house, getting back into TF2, and being glad we're still showing some signs of life here.
