I have been using Mac for a while now ever since my PC broke down, so virus wasn't quite an issue to me buy lately when I pluck my thumb drive into a PC at printing shop, their anti-virus detected recycler virus on my drive, how do I get rid of it?

The recycler virus has already destroy my other thumb drive rendering it completely useless, files go missing everytime even reformatting it several times do not help.

Are you just trying to save the drive? Or do you need the stuff on it? Anyway I'm not 100% sure a good method. but I do have an idea. If you can get to a Xbox or somthing plug it in and format it to the game system (that will erase all data) then just format it back to normal. All the data will be gone but the virus should be gone. Plus no risk of it getting on your mac or anything. That's just an idea though, unless you can find the file its on and delete it.

Reformat the drive. Save everything on it that's worth a damn, and then reformat it. You're on a Mac, so it's not going to infect you, but still, reformat the drive. If you ever plug it into a windows PC, that'll get infected too, and it will be a bitch to get rid of. So just reformat the drive.
