Two days ago, I celebrated one year of being clean of all drugs(including alcohol). If you are battling with addiction, there *is* hope. In mid-June, I was released from jail after doing 15 months. I will get off of house arrest December 19th.
-I now have my license for the first time in 6 years.
-I have had four raises totalling $3 in the four months I've been at my job.
-Starting today, I am now an Assistant Director at the recovery home I've been staying at.
-I am over halfway through the guitar work on an album I've been writing.
-I have a beautiful girlfriend that adores me as much as I adore her.
-I am happy.
-I am clean.
None of this would have been possible without God, and the support of my family and *real* friends. I consider the village part of my group of friends. Your support has meant a lot to me.

It really is cool, MM. My family gets together on Christmas, and I'm off of house arrest on Dec. 19. Honestly, it's going to be a somewhat anxious time for me. I've talked to a lot of my family since being released, but others I have not...

I've was a skeptic for years. I thought I was so clever defining my beliefs as "an Agnostic leaning toward the possibility of God". I have, now, seen truly unexplainable things. Miracles, even. I'm no Bible thumper, and don't buy into religion, but I have felt the presence of God and work [almost] every day to improve that connection. I would not be alive today without God.
