October 1st has finally come, which means it's time to open yet another RuneVillage Time Capsule! This year we take a look back at our lives circa late 2012, when Breaking Bad wasn't a show that had ended already and things at RV were...more or less the same.

To participate in the next time capsule, head over to this other topic (don't post next year's messages here!)

PAST Topsummoner 1 YEAR AGO responded to memo.

Greetings! In this time frame, you're in a really good place.

You're about a week into your first ever relationship, something that's hopefully still a thing! I'm confident it will be, but you never know. Gosh she is so great. Life makes sense, yknow.
have you... you know... done it....

Right now you're in Programming, Data Management, and Jazz Band. You're looking for a job, hopefully you got one shortly after this writing? Did you ever manage to get the money to go on Travel Club to Japan? How were Semi, Prom? Band trip? I guess you're probably in college now? Howzat?

Still in the usual living arrangements? Or have you moved into Dad's entirely? Dad got married to Charisse about a month and some ago, finally. He's finally happy. So proud. Is Chase still a dingus? Is Jake still slow? Where are Georgia and Gillian at?

Whatever happened to the Minecraft server you were doing with Riley and Justin and them?

How are your friends? Still talk to Aden I hope? Are he and Hayley still together? They're an odd couple, sometimes they seem perfect for each other, othertimes volatile. WHERE'S PATRICK?

IS HOMESTUCK OVER YET? I suspect it's probably on the homestretch, if my 10/25 2013 ending theory is correct.

Hopefully you can write music n'stuff by now.

That's about all I've got to say. Really happy right now. Stay gold.

PAST Topsummoner ceased responding to memo.

Hello future you! Hopefully everything will be going well from here, 'til the next time you see this in 2013. So far, this year has been a pretty ok year, right? I will start you off with a few main questions that you should answer easily. How is life going for you? Are you still working at Panera, and trying your best to save money as you work? Do you still have a love/hate relationship with the job, and are the same people still working there? If not, then who has left the place, and who are the new people working there? Is Stephen still an assistant manager there? Is Mark still there? Hopefully things are good, another year around.

How was your one month trip to England? Did you enjoy it, and did you find everything to your expectations, maybe even more? Do you love it there, and do you really want to make a move there? If so, then what is the goal to moving over there? Do you still want to make it there by the end of 2013, or is it going to be another year?

Are you seeing your friends regularly, and do you still hang with Brian and the rest of the crew when you have time off of work? Is Brian in a relationship yet? How did Paris Island go for him? Did you attend his graduation in January? I hope you get to attend it! Are you still talking to Liz, and Jen as well and hanging with them when you can? Is Jen still with Rob? You two need to find a way to hang out more to get some female time.

Again, how is the money saving going? Are you putting most of it away in your savings, like you have been doing? You better be saving that money!

For now, that is all I have for you. I hope everything will go well!

You've been engaged now for a day and a half, but when you're reading this, it'll be over a year! I hope all is well, and maybe you've started planning a wedding for the near-future? Life is going really well for you right now, but video games are stagnant. Hopefully you've found something to pass the time! How was Italy? was it as awesome as you hoped it would be? Good news is, if you're reading this, the world didn't end like some thought it would! :D Hope everything is well, give Emily a kiss from me. Stay true to your passions. You still have an extreme love for entertaining, and it's what you were meant to do. Don't get discouraged, life is hard, and you chose a hard field. Hopefully by the time you're reading this you will be graduating in a couple months. (Idiot. Should have been a year ago!)

I really love what you have. She's the brightest part of your day. Did this past summer top summer 2011? I doubt it, what summer could top Tomorrowland + Amsterdam .. I don't even know what else to say. I just hope you're doing well and keep on keepin' on. Do what you've gotta do. Make that paper and live happily. No regrets. Peace brother.

The first day you wanted to start writing this was a failure to defend your Evony alliance-mate lillla from an nwo attack. You forgot that the lowest research applies, and hers is terribad.
The second day it crossed your mind to write on this, you were installing a Virtual Machine on the new computer. Problem with it was that the user account you were on, despite being labeled "Admin", didn't even have Write and Modify permissions. The actual hidden Admin account wasn't allowed to change those permissions.
So here we are nearly a week total later. If it really takes you this long to get motivated for anything, you're in trouble. That track record's been piling pretty high, and quite frankly, I'm tired of it. If you're STILL feeling tired of it upon reading this, you probably deserve to be at any low points you're at now.

So, onto happier things. Pessimism never was our strong suit, aye?

Obligatory Games of Interest
Phantasy Star Online, again: Raine is still stuck in the mines. Not for lack of ability to go through the majority of it without a kill: Jellen and Deband make an awesome combo, and getting past the traps is the worst part. The problem is Vol Opt. The spikes he drives down from the sky are too powerful for even the most defensive build I have to survive a hit. An all out offense works as well as an all out defense: both fail spectacularly.
However, despite her being stuck there, Shiva is fast to advance (to the point of rushing the Caves Forest [wtf?] and forcing you to play again the next day to find the pillar, THEN going through the mines again just to get to the ruins. :ura: Hasty!)
Evony: Yeah, it sucked you in out of curiosity. You remember seeing Age 2 back when we quit Age 1? Well, that which killed the cat took hold and we're off to test. It was pretty much the same, just a faster start and crappier system for attacking people. CALYPSO is turning out to be pretty fun, though.
Pokémon SoulSilver: The buffed Elite Four still whomps me, so at the present I'm trying to take advantage of Gym Leader phone numbers to get myself a few fights for exp. Never a not-fun game, though. :3
Team Fortress 2: I finally crafted a Brass Beast. All is good for my class' setups. ^_^

Drawing still happens, as we mentioned at the opening of the 2011 capsule. I hope Writing has come back, it was fun. D:

Odds are no new challenge has come to you on Brawl yet.

However, one curiosity comes up. Where's Adam in your time? In mine, he's up in Washington. He's slymacdj on here (with a wicked awesome sprite made for him, if I do say so myself) and, as far as I know, no news is good news about how well he's doing there. ... Heh, Shadow is still probably on just Hard mode of PSO and using Yamato, right?

Rob & Meg make it? Whit & Jon still happy? Jeff & Misty still cute together? James & Lady last the year? Adam & Tiffany working out? Definitely hope so!
Ooh, speaking of Whit and Jon! By then, the P&C pilot episode will have come out. What's the news on that? I've gotta tell you, I'm freakin' excited to see where that one may lead.

Homestuck finally finished? John planted a spoilers on Jack with spoilers Vriska spoilers and now he's looking off at PM like she's gonna kill him.
And that suddenly reminds me. Homestuck's Kickstarter apparently grossed $2,485,506. Yes, nearly two and a half million dollars. According to Hussie, that's the sixth highest earnings of all time, for a single Kickstarter. If this one comes out being anything less than Game of the Year for its year, I'll be disappointed!
On a highly similar note, Indiegogo was the host of TheOatmeal trying to build a Goddamn Tesla Museum. If you don't remember the specifics, he had to raise $850,000 so he could get a grant for an equal amount just to buy the land for the museum. He came out with $1,370,511, meaning he has $520,511 to play with for the museum. I hope these two are doing well!

Samurai Jack is apparently on the TV as I type this. I'd have never expected it to come back on. What's got your ears / eyes in the future-present, bro?

Able to sit on your hair again yet? :D How many debts have been squared away by now? Able to strum the Wind Waker tunes? How'd Global Mafia end up? How many more items have been added to the Kiko's List of grocery store worker don'ts? You probably won't match Skippy, but damn if it isn't fun.

Hope things are still moving upward for you, bro. You need to be higher up if you really want to help others be the same.

Well, then. How is Rexbro doing upon reading of this? Did you even remember it, you lazy Fuzzy Bunny?

As of writing, you've been working at Big Lots for several weeks...how did this turn out? Still working there, or did they let you go after the season? Did Bill ever decide to take a Fuzzy Bunny shower? Unlikely.

What's a Rexbro gaming at? Currently, you're still half-assedly playing both RS and WoW. Nearing cata zones with Philogyny (level 77), and contemplating whether or not to buy Mists of Pandaria. Xr Rx is still a sexy beast, despite not being worked on very actively. 2255 total with 233m exp as of right now, though I highly doubt you'll still be playing in the future due to EoC. Ever finally figure out a new game to obtain and burn yourself out on rapidly? As of now, you're in a toss-up between Guild Wars 2, Mists of Pandaria, and Borderlands 2...quit being a cheap-ass and get at least one of them.

On a more personal note, how's the weight going? Still tightening up? Since you started work, you lost nearly 50 pounds, but the drop rate has slowed down considerably. Did you ever get your Fuzzy Bunny together enough to start working on a lovelife outside of your bromances? Unlikely, I know you. Still rocking the same bromances, for that matter? Don't lose contact with your bros, you know from past experience how much it sucks ass not having a bro to speak with. Still living in the same place? Get yourself a better hearing aid yet? Right now, it's borked all to hell, planning to call Kristen on Monday...hopefully it gets itself fixed before then.

Pretty sure this is the longest post you've ever made on RV, brah. Don't die and continue making life progress, bro. Getting a job was just step 1, don't let yourself stagnate here.

Love with homoerotic overtones,
Tubby Lumpkins

GREETINGS FUTURE JARON

I HAVE QUESTIONS FOR YOU MAYBE

Well maybe not that many questions. The main thing I'm wondering is where you are! WHERE ARE YOU JARON. IN TWELVE MONTHS TIME YOU WILL NOT BE SITTING WHERE I AM SITTING NOW. How are things going? Well, I trust?

Also how is your webcomic going? If I were to look a year ahead right now and see that you've started Harvest Muse, I would be absolutely ecstatic. However, realistically I know the chances of that happening are like 20%, so don't feel bad because you haven't done it! We all know you've been doomed to failure in that regard. Instead, how is poor ol' Shark? Reaching ~125 comics? Did you do anything special for #100 or did it just kind of come and go?

I've been busy as usual so this message is coming down to the wire on October 14th. That's okay, though, because the majority of my posts are usually lacking in sarcasm and brimming instead with where I am now so that you can be impressed with how much can happen in one year's time. So here is what's going on right now!

Next projects at work: Finish settings page redesign, then library file management oh jeez I hope. I hope you did a good job on that. It has so much potential.
PS3 games: 17
PS3 level: 13.38 with 1016 trophies (16 platinum)
DS games: 27
3DS games: 6
Last.FM plays: 76,752 (1,470 on Black Rose / Green Sun)
Homestuck is: In the middle of A6I3

WhatPulse: 27,610,000 keys, 5,405,404 clicks, 443.18 miles (Diamond has 870,000 and 190,933 respectively. Did you get a new laptop?)
Poor Shark: #75 goes up tomorrow, which will be Prince's first appearance. Shore and Susie show up next week unless I accidentally slack off too much.
Grandma is: Not doing that well?
Decadia is: As is to be expected
Fan arts drawn: 1 if you count the Larkspur I'm doing as soon as I'm done typing this
Books left on my desk end here: 14 I think? Most of these aren't books, they're comics from SDCC 2012.
Peanuts books read: I guess 1? I haven't read it at all in the past year and I've got too many other things to read besides.
Solais: GitHub says it's at about 1,150 lines of code. I really want to get going on it again once I figure out how I want boards to be generated!

I think that's about all I've got. Hope your year went well, man, and I hope you're making the most of your time right now. It's something I've been looking forward to for quite a while.

Take care.

Message: Hey Jackstick,

Well, once again you waited til the last minute to make this post. Will you ever learn?

Let's start with real life... right now you're studying for your second Chemistry II exam, which is on Wednesday. How did you do? You did well on the first one, please tell me you did well on this one too.

I really hope that Nissan Altima is still working. You'd like to have a job again very soon, but that could be heavily delayed if that piece of Fuzzy Bunny car decides to die.

Oh, and you're in the process of preparing for the biggest surgery of your life, which unfortunately requires you to be in braces AGAIN GOD DAMMIT, but only for like 6 months. How did it go? Oh God, please tell me it went well. They're going to break your face horizontally in half and grind some bone out of your upper jaw, and maybe even your lower jaw too. This sounds insanely painful. You should reconsider, call it off now! What? You already have those painful rubber spacers between your teeth, and you've already paid for braces? Well Fuzzy Bunny, it's too late to turn back now. At least they're gonna be white braces, you world-class winner.

How is the family? Did you find a nursing home for your father? Please tell me you did. Are you still living at home? We're planning to sell the house soon and buy a smaller home. Did that happen?

You're still studying to be a nurse, is that going well? You'll be applying for the College of Nursing a few months after you read this post. Good luck with that!

As for RV... well, Henner shitstormed his way out of here, and long story short he's no longer a member of the staff. The ownership was transferred to you, and we're in the process of "rebooting" the site, I guess. The design, which you had wanted to have complete by today, will unfortunately take a little bit longer. But it's coming together very nicely. Basically, the site's new purpose can be described as multi-interest and based on creative-content of our user base. There's about a 99% chance that this will fail, like everything at RV, but hang on to that 1%. Hang on tight, because this could be huge. Like, Digital-Complex huge.

Honestly, I can't believe that you managed to log in for the 2012 Time capsule, and read your 2011 entry. I really didn't think it would happen, and it's obvious that you were calling yourself a strange and lonely man if you managed to read last years post, so are you going to do it again? Huh?

You're still at that large retail chain you said you'd get out of. What are you doing now!? Did they give you more than a 7% payrise for 3 years hard work next year? If not, honestly, why are you still there... You can't survive on that wage anymore.

AS the anime viewing time, I don't think you updated it since you made that post, so I have no idea what you can compare it to... You're post count hasn't even gone up much, so what can i say, you have been slacking on the interwebs... Yeah that's true...

Hows the pandas? I assume you have still not played the game. Well done if so, and if not, then i don't want to know you, I refuse to believe that that is the man I will become. I hate you!

So other stuff? Hmmm... Well, you actually have an interest in someone at the moment, that go anywhere? Knowing you you did absolutely nothing about it, and then found out some time later that they now have a partner, and it's all over you for, ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha ha.

Now, here's the best question of them all. HAVE YOU FINALLY FINISHED AND COMPLETED A DND CAMPAIGN? Has Susan finally worked out that when he rolls dice, he needs to do the math, and no just say numbers. Although yes, answering the questions "Susan, what did you roll?" with "7,5,10", is correct, it still means nothing! /sighage.

I'll leave it there. I'm still impressed you managed to time this so well. Let's see if you managed it again.

Moose out

These things are always really awkward to write, but they're always cool to read so I guess I can suffer through writing one again.

You're still in school obvs, which is totes rad to the max. Keep up the hard work. How'd your first year go? It's been pretty awesome so far, and I can really only see it getting awesome-er. I'm assuming the family is still the same, as is usually the case. Nothing ever really seems to change there. Oh, did Austin get married yet? If so, how was the ceremony? I have no idea how I'm gonna get there for it when it happens but I'll definitely find a way - Can't miss my bro's wedding after all. Will be the first wedding we've ever been to so that should be kinda neat. Hard to believe he of all people is getting hitched. I always figured we'd wind up getting married before he did for some reason - Probably because we're suckers for romance whereas he's just always kind of been a manwhore. Guess it's a testament to how much he's grown up??? Yeah right!

How's that social life? Still hanging with that awesome gangbunch? They are pretty great. I haven't had a group of friends like this since high school so it's pretty refreshing and kind of nostalgic, even if they're nothing like Wes and Leo and them. I won't ask you if you're dating anyone because I know you hate it when I do and then you read through this and you're like "aww man, I'm still single". ...Except you're gonna be doing that anyway since I even brought the subject up. Whoops! Ah well, maybe you'll actually be able to answer with a yes this time? It's not like you're stuck in the middle of nowhere anymore. And I mean if not that's fine too! We do enjoy our independance, after all. Women are just a chore!!!

Also I guess it's kind of obligatory to ask if Homestuck has ended yet. If it has then that's kind of sad but I'm sure it had an amazing finale. And hey, you're a year closer to that HOMESTUCK ADVENTURE GAME!!! Man I can't wait. It's gonna be so awesome oh my goodness.

...

I can't really think of anything else to ask or say aside from that I hope everything is going well. I'm sure it is, and we both know why I'm so sure of that. I won't bog this letter down with melodrama like I usually do. It's a pretty lame thing to do! And we are anything but lame. [pause for laughter] Oh yeah that reminds me, even though I was gonna avoid mentioning her in this letter for once, how's Alysa? And mainly by that I mean has she had a kid yet? God I hope not but it would be pretty hilarious if that "family curse" of hers actually came true. Hilarious from an outside perspective anyway because we both know that we would flip our Fuzzy Bunny lids if it happens. Not that we have any reason to but it's always the same when it comes to that girl - We just can't disconnect ourselves. She is like OUR curse. Like I said, women are a chore!!!

So yeah. I guess... see you in a year??? Just go ahead and fist bunp the mirror and that will be me. Not really but it's the closest we'll ever come to actually meeting. Even though I will be you when you read this. Weird Time Fuzzy Bunny, am I right?

PS: FINAL HOUR

Yours in the past, present, and future,
~ 21-year-old Chris

Well maybe not that many questions. The main thing I'm wondering is where you are! WHERE ARE YOU JARON. IN TWELVE MONTHS TIME YOU WILL NOT BE SITTING WHERE I AM SITTING NOW. How are things going? Well, I trust?
I'm sitting in a dorm room at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I suppose things are going relatively well. My departure from my job reminded me once again how awesome my co-workers were, and even now I'm a TA in a course with 25 TAs and 500 students. It's a great group of people. Tonight I proctor my first exam! (Schoolwise I've got some Compiler Construction homework that is a pain in the butt and because of it I probably won't get to head home this weekend but I think I'm getting it.)
Sayaka wrote:
Also how is your webcomic going? If I were to look a year ahead right now and see that you've started Harvest Muse, I would be absolutely ecstatic. However, realistically I know the chances of that happening are like 20%, so don't feel bad because you haven't done it! We all know you've been doomed to failure in that regard. Instead, how is poor ol' Shark? Reaching ~125 comics? Did you do anything special for #100 or did it just kind of come and go?
I don't feel bad; while Harvest Muse would be awesome, I lack both the drawing talent and the storytelling talent for it, and I don't want to invest that much time in something I won't be satisfied with.

Poor Shark ended after two years, which I'm fairly certain you knew at that point but didn't want to say in public for the time capsule. It took like 10 hours of my life every week to draw each comic, and that wasn't going to be feasible for me while going to grad school. I put a lot of effort into comic #100 actually, and I'm really proud of the result. It's like a medley of everything that happened, and it makes me happy to see it.

I've been busy as usual so this message is coming down to the wire on October 14th. That's okay, though, because the majority of my posts are usually lacking in sarcasm and brimming instead with where I am now so that you can be impressed with how much can happen in one year's time. So here is what's going on right now!
I'm busy too so we'll see when the next one happens.

Homestuck is: In the middle of A6I3
Latest Homestuck album volume: 9
Next projects at work: Proctor an exam then grade 500 of them. The settings page redesign went well! Library file management also went well but jeez man that took forever. You were doing it up until, like, April! But I'm confident it was done in a way that made it easily extendable even after you left, so good job.
PS3 games: I dunno because I'm not home anymore? But you bought PS3 All-stars Battle Royale and Project Diva F so there's at least two more.
PS3 level: 13.82 with 1154 trophies (17 platinum). The two above games would be easy to platinum but I'm busy man!
DS games: I dunno because I'm not at home but I bought 2 more from Amazon and they arrived last week, hehe.
3DS games: Same deal but I think 7?
Last.FM plays: 96,506 (1,610 on Black Rose / Green Sun). Good progress. o/
Homestuck is: In the middle of A6A6I2?
Latest Homestuck album volume: 10 not counting special albums but regardless this is a travesty.
WhatPulse: "Jaron has typed 30,520,000 keys, clicked their mouse 6,030,451 times, downloaded 265.13GB, uploaded 214.85GB and has run the WhatPulse client for 8 weeks, 6 days, 9 hours, 52 minutes, 37 seconds." They shifted some stats around. Diamond has 3.07 million keys, and my new laptop Garnet has 0.7 million keys.)
Poor Shark: Was great amidst a ton of effort. Shore ended up being one of my favorite characters, and the 24-hour comics day thing remains one of my absolute favorite strips.
Grandma is: Dead.
Decadia is: Actually...quite a bit better. I've got some good friends.
Fan arts drawn: Still 1, but I could see myself doing something new for it.
Books left on my desk end here: I'm not there. But after SDCC 2013 I read a bunch of them. E-eight maybe?
Peanuts books read: Haha yeah 1.
Solais: Dropped in favor of Crissaegrim and Valmonway, which while both are also not proceeding at a speedy rate, are going rather well in general!
Sayaka wrote:
I think that's about all I've got. Hope your year went well, man, and I hope you're making the most of your time right now. It's something I've been looking forward to for quite a while.
It did, actually, I think. And I'm trying hard here. We'll see how things go. I've been looking forward to this for over a year and a half yeah, but it's still a bit different that I expected. We'll do fine.

You don't have to be such an Fuzzy Bunny about it.

You ended up getting exactly the same score on the second exam.

I really hope that Nissan Altima is still working. You'd like to have a job again very soon, but that could be heavily delayed if that piece of Fuzzy Bunny car decides to die.

Nissan is still working, and you found a job. You went out with a girl from work last week and it went okay, but you don't know where this is going because she can't make her mind up about what she wants and she's expecting you to do all the work yourself. You're losing interest at an alarming rate, but you're still depressed that this doesn't seem to be working out. You can either back away and wait for her to take a step, or you can keep pushing it and risk venturing into creep-territory. Backing away seems best. Also don't forget to fix your driver-side mirror on that Fuzzy Bunny goddamn Nissan.

Jackstick wrote:

"6 months" lol, you . IT'S BEEN A YEAR AND YOU'RE STILL IN BRACES. But you'll be getting them off around December. Surgery went well. There's a tiny spot on your upper lip that is still 100% numb, and that will probably never recover, but it's not noticeable unless you really think about it. Like now.

Jackstick wrote:
How is the family? Did you find a nursing home for your father? Please tell me you did. Are you still living at home? We're planning to sell the house soon and buy a smaller home. Did that happen?

Yes, and he'll be moving into it this month or next. You'll be moving into an apartment this December, with a friend from work. Still haven't sold the house yet, and I'm not sure if that's actually going to happen anymore.

Jackstick wrote:

Yep. Still got a ways to go, but yep.

The reboot was successful. We now rank at the very top of Alexa, and our userbase makes up the vast majority of the internet's active population. We've recently partnered with SpaceX and are in the process of setting up a RuneVillage base on Mars in early anticipation for its inevitable human colonization several centuries from now, beginning with a global Martian government owned and operated by the RuneVillage Solar Empire. All other video game fansites have been absorbed into the RuneVillage Network, and any new fansites are immediately ceased or destroyed by our merciless Cyber Military made up of thousands of Glodenox-clones. Everything has gone according to plan.

Still Kikori. 11,109 posts after this one's done. Jeez, feels weird to not make like a thousand posts in a year.

Where Evony is concerned, that definitely turned into a Fuzzy Bunny. Fear was one of the worst diplomats possible, but anyone on your skill level seemed to resort to bots. So, forget that game.
VMware ended up a dead end. A virtual machine only seems to want to allocate one USB slot of the computer, no matter what settings and options you go through. We need two. Sigh.
Thankfully, I need a couple days less motivation. Not that five days is a good thing. Glad to know from personal experience my mood got better after writing that post, though.

PSO faded when I realized I'm still alone when playing. Finally beat Act II, don't think I have the patience to grind through Act I.
Evony sucks.
SoulSilver was fun to get a few good trades and level-ups on, but meh.
TF2 got far more fun when I started crafting EVERYTHING possible that all my classes use. A little under halfway there.
Drawing has also slowed down, unfortunately. Nothing new in writing... on paper. Quite a bit in the head.
No new challenges on Brawl.

Adam is still in Washington, didn't stick with RV, no news, and correct.
They seem to have, thank god. They're great together. They're AMAZING together. I'll have to ask. Off and on, thankfully more on than off.
Nothing official. They're still in work with the animation setup and voice acting. D:

Finally in the final "act", but with over 8,999 characters to juggle through, it's not getting anywhere close. Neither of Hussie's games are out yet, either.
The property was officially purchased, but I can't find any real progress report on how the museum construction may be going.

I... actually somehow think I remember it to be the episode where the kids tell a story about what they think Jack would do ascending a tower, fighting a monster, and facing off with Aku (sp?) after Aku gives them a bad storytime. Heh. Currently I'm in a Smooth McGroove fix and... nothing really good is on TV anymore. USA has lost its love of good movies and NCIS, ABC family's movies are a crapshoot, AMC's movies are a crapshoot, TMC has lost most its goodness, and Discovery has just turned to Fuzzy Bunny. D:

Almost there! About half a foot more to go!
None whatsoever. One still promises, one shouldn't matter, one seems to have vanished entirely in place of sexing up people.
Sadly, never tried again after that post...
Quite active, and fun. Didn't spur too much interest, though.
The list is gone. I don't remember how or when. Sadface. ;_;

CURRENT Topsummoner RIGHT NOW responded to memo.

Hahahahaha oh maaaan. No, that relationship barely lasted another couple weeks after this time capsule was written. You're still a virgin, and your sole ex-girlfriend stole all your friends making you revert to being a total loner for the majority of your 'victory lap'. So good job. Justin and Jon were pretty much the only people you really talked to for the year.

You did find a job! At ShitDonalds! It was alright for a while, but right now you're in the middle of your second last week there, as to focus on school. Didn't go on the Travel Club trip, it got changed to China anyways. Semi was Fuzzy Bunny this year for some reason. Didn't go to Prom. Band Trip was meh, definitely the worst of the three years. Still really fun though. You ARE in college, Film Production at Confederation College. It's KILLER. I love it.

Still usually living arrangements. Chase is still a snot, Jake is still a dunce. Georgia's in college too, Police Foundations. Gillian is a DRAMA queen and also maybe on drugs?

SilverCraft ended up dying, but for a stint of at least a month, you joined up with Justin and Martin on a Vanilla server, VanillaEXP, commandeered a mushroom island, and created wonders so grand that they are preserved on the server despite the fact none of you are there anymore. So. Much. Clay.

As mentioned earlier, you kind of lost most of your friends. Zach went to college, Mitch got cool NEW friends, Patrick became THE BETRAYER. Aden's in your film program so you've reconnected with him at least. There's some pretty cool people you're gettin' to know in your classes though. Things are lookin' up. Aden and Hayley ARE still together, somehow. You're no longer their third wheel though.

> is homestuck over
HAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAHAAH

> can you write music
OHOHOHHOHOHOHOHOHO

Things were down for most of this year, but they're looking up again. Stay gold.

CURRENT Topsummoner ceased responding to memo.

Still working at 1194, racked up approx 4000 hours.. At this point, still working on getting to Stage 3, but I think you should get it by the end of this month. Stage 4 is going to take forever if you continue at this pace.. Other than that, not much else going on.. Court date on the 18th, hopefully that whole mess will be over and done with after that date.

Errythang is still pretty much the same.. :\

Still working at Panera, although I transferred to a location in PA, due to my family having to move. I visted my old store recently, and there are a lot of new people... very few faces I actually recognize. Most of the old employees either moved on to another job, or walked out. Steven and Mark are no longer working at the old Panera. I still have a love/hate relationship with the job.

England... I loved it there, I actually made another trip there and came back last Tuesday. At this point in time, I don't know if a move would be possible there, although I can only wish.

I have been seeing my friends more regularly, and I did hang out with Brian and the others when I had time off work. Brian is in a relationship now, with a girl that I used to go to middle school with, small world! However, I did not attend his graduation in January. I am still talking to Liz, even if it is via text. Jen, not so much... I think she's been busy with her Uni and her boyfriend, but that's alright. Jen is still with Rob, which I am happy about.

The money saving is going pretty well. I still put most of it away... now I have to save up for a new pc, which will probably take two months. That's pretty much it.

Holy moly, it's you in the future! I hope the past year went well. Are you significantly closer to knowing what you want to do after college? Are you planning on never leaving (because that's a bad idea)? Did you have tons of fun and make tons of dough at your internship/co-op (that you totally got, right...?)?

:-s bartoron :-s

Hey, it's me from the past! :D The past year was pretty awesome. I still don't really know what I want to do, but I know that I sure as hell don't want to stay for grad school. Fuzzy Bunny that. I just need to get a company to pay for me to go. Then maybe I'll go. I did have tons of fun and make tons of dough on co-op! :D Being back in school sucks. So much.

Had my 10 year anniversary on Runescape this year. Are you still
playing? Have you fixed your living situation? Have you found a new
job? Have you managed to stay with the same girl now for 5 1/2
years? Did you ever quit smoking? Still drinking Fuzzy Bunny amounts of
alcohol?

A little late but here we go.. No, I am not currently playing, have not had the time! I should see if my bank has inflated up to 1b yet.. one of these days. My living situation has been fixed! No more Fuzzy Bunny tent! That sure was a long two years of stress and more drugs then one should take in an entire lifetime. Proud to say I've been clean since May 16th! (minus the fact i still smoke pot but thats my medicine) Still with the same girl, although being 2,000 miles away is rough. Soon enough she will join me up here in Alaska. Quit smoking?! Haha almost.. now down to roughly 5 a day after smoking a pack or more every day for the last 10 years. Also, I have slowed down my drinking tremendously! 2013 was an amazing year of adventure! Now time for my first real winter to begin here in Juneau!
