Hey everyone, I thought I'd share some photos of my weight loss over the last several months. I still can't see much of a difference in myself, but others say they really can, so I guess I'll have to take their word for it.

Sorry for the low-quality of this one, it's a picture of a picture. Estimated weight is around 425lbs. Never found a scale big enough to get an exact number until after I had started losing the weight.

This was in Dublin at the Jameson Distillery. I chose it to give a comparison to me sitting down. Weight here is about 380-385.

Most recent picture of me taken last week to show off my new haircut. Weight is around 360.

As of this morning I weigh 355 doing the Keto diet (20g of Net carbs a day.) It's awesome because I can eat a lot more than most diets, but it sucks because almost everything has carbs.

Way to go Tanks, that's excellent! I definitely see a difference, especially in your face. A couple family members lost 60+ lbs in the last year or so, so I can say with confidence that's usually the first thing people notice. Keep it up! I'm rooting for you.

Man I totally like your old haircut better though

There's definitely some major differences! You now have a neck, for example.


I agree with Sayaka. Bring back the hair! That shaved head makes you look like you're 40, but a nice head of hair will help to youthanize you.

Excellent job!

I'm down 35lbs since Feb myself. Did the super low carb thing for four months and started to VERY SLOWLY add them back in at 5g per week or so. You really have to watch for "carb rebound" as your body will start storing them as fat very quickly since it doesn't know when it will get more. Or so they say.

A buddy and I have been doing the same diet since Feb. He's down 45lbs and now has a six pack. He had a lot more muscle mass than me so losing more weight in the same time frame was easier (more muscle = more calories burned).

But man...........doesn't it feel great? My insane BP that was very difficult to control on meds is gone. If anything it's too low at times, causing some dizziness. But I'll take that over stroke range of 180/110.

I tried tofu for the first time today, just for the hell of it (and a cheap protein source). Yeah........I'll stick with chicken!

If you want cheap protein, try Kroger Carbmaster Nonfat Reduced Sugar Milk. BRB 11g protein, 3g sugar and 0g fat. I just wish I could get it in Canada
