I don't know what I was smoking...

when I did / thought / said that. Even if we don't actually smoke anything, we've all probably got moments where we wonder what the hell was on our mind to make us do some acts of sheer silliness.

One of those hit me recently. Sleeping on my side is usually comfortable, but I woke up in the middle of the night with my arm almost totally numbed out, very cold and feeling odd. I was conscious enough to know I had to move it around to get feeling in it quickly, so for whatever reason, I started waving my hands over my head while humming or singing the "Yar, har, fiddle-de-dee, being a pirate is alright to be" song. That LOL LIMEWIRE flash was apparently the inspiration for my sleepy self to get feeling back in my arm.

SO YEAH. I don't know what I was on aside from sleepiness for that to be going through my head as a way to get my arm's feeling back. :p Anyone else had these moments of sheer unexplainable silliness recently?

Hahaha! That's awesome. Inside my head there are two thoughts are battling for my attention. One is a groggy kikori, sitting up and waving about, flapping his arms all over. And the other is the animated characters from the clip.

The last time I did something where I thought "what the hell was I thinking" my friend lined up a bunch of empty cans that we just drank, and proceeded to smash them with his forehead. I thought: well this isn't the most bright thing to do... Maybe we can at least make it more funny. Then the next thing I know I snuck a full can at the end of the line.

But thankfully I had the "what the hell was I thinking" moment just then, and hit it out of the way before he cracked his skull.

I was expecting a girlfriend- based rant when I read the title :laugh:

Me and a friend once dressed up as if it was extremely cold, including one of those crazy Russian hats, then burst into our flatmates room and told him in Russian accents that if he didn't clean the bathroom as previously agreed we would be back to take him to the Gulag. Hadn't even drank a drop of alcohol that day :lmao:

The only one i could think of was riding on a shovel that was being pulled by a rope on the handle by an ATV. This was during winter, mind you. It was fun, until you take some nasty spills. (or a rock gets picked up by the tires.)

I usually don't have many weird moments during the day, but its my dreams that end up bordering even the dreamscape barriers.

I can't really think of a big one, but this happened a couple days ago:

Hmm, I need 75 cents to ride the bus back home. Crap, I only have two quarters. But wait, I also have two $1 bills. I could just use one of these dollars to pay my fare, but the bus doesn't give change, so I'd be wasting 25 cents! Hey I know, I'll go buy a cookie for $1.30 so I get 70 cents in change. Then I'll have $1.20 in coins, and a cookie! Oh hey, they have a 2-cookies-for-2-dollars special today! That's 30 cents less per cookie than their usual prices. Which means I'd be saving 60 cents. 60 cents plus the two quarters in my pocket equals $1.10 in coins! Hmm, yes, this all makes very good sense. That's still more than enough change for the bus. Yes, I'll have two cookies please! *Moments later* Wait... what did... wait... oh god dammit.

I ended up having to use the ATM to withdraw more money, which I used to buy another goddamn cookie so that I could make enough change for the bus fare.

I have three, although two aren't mine.

My dad, about a decade ago, went through the drive-thru for McDonalds. He paid for whatever he ordered, but left after paying and didn't realize it until 15 minutes later. I don't remember if he went back.

Several years ago, my brother-in-law was sleeping and he sleeptalks sometimes. He kept screaming about RAISE THE ROOF, CHARGE THE FRONT. I have no idea lol.

After typing those, I now forgot my stupid moment. Go figure.
