Let's make the subject of my psychic visions, oh I don't know, next week's newspaper comics.

Next week's Sunday Garfield strip ends with Jon Arbuckle getting hit in the face with a ton of leaves, and in Dilbert, the pointy-haired boss wants their software moved to the cloud. The Wizard of Id has an intern, Frank & Ernest makes a football joke, and Arlo makes nachos. Ruthie calls Joe annoying in One Big Happy, a football player gets sacked in Crankshaft, Dagwood Bumstead makes a show out of kissing his wife before leaving for work, and Linus mails off a letter to The Great Pumpkin.

When you read the comics on October 21st, be sure to remember this post and that I'm totally psychic.

Does anyone actually read the newspaper anymore?

I figured they went the way of cassette tapes and floppy disks.

Pattern recognition would be saying Beetle Bailey annoys Sarge or The Born Loser annoys his wife. (Which they both will come October 21st, but those happen practically every week so it's not nearly as impressive, as, say, a claim that The Family Circus will run a comic featuring plays on political phrases.)

Silly Jaron, Foxtrot is the only newspaper comic that matters! I mean, what other comics will mention Portal, Starcraft or Diablo?

Foxtrot is my FAVORITE comic. I own all the books.

When I went to San Diego Comic-con this year, though, I sat in on Bill Amend's panel, and he showed a few future comics. So those wouldn't be fair for me to say!
