Yeah, it's quite impressive.

I find the Oatmeal a bit hit and miss, but I really enjoyed his article on Tesla - Learned a lot of new things from it. Hopefully he can succeed in his goal - Roughly half way in less then a day is a very good sign.

Specifically, it's to outbid a competing interest.

Still, I agree that it's a ludicrous sum of money to pay for an unused building that's been derelict for decades.
