Apple announced the apple 4s today, im very impressed with the siri voice control.

dual core a5 processor
8 megapixel camera
switches antennas between receiving and sending for better call quality and faster data.

Well it's an update to the iPhone 4, so that's nice

I don't like how that siri voice control is a device feature and not just a feature of iOS 5, as it is just purely software

I guess they needed something exclusive to the device

Disappointed. Only pro for me is the processor... dunno if that is enough to convince me.

It probably requires the upgraded specs to run the voice recognition software.

I am a bit disappointed that its just an updated iphone 4, especially since we had to wait so long for the announcement... As much as i would like the voice recognition software, im probably going to end up waiting for the redesigned iphone 5 next year, just like i skipped the 3gs last time.

Maybe the next phone I get will be an iPhone 4. Price cuts are cool beans. Or I could just, you know... get any random awesome Android phone. I probably won't go with another BlackBerry.

Meh, i doubt i'll be upgrading my iPhone 4 in a hurry. Maybe when it breaks, but until then... nah.

Plus, Jailbreak is a must-have feature on any iOS device for me. No Jailbreak, no sale.

Well I updated my 3gs to 5.0. I love how it displays all your missed messages/notifications as a list on your locked screen.

personally im happy with the IOSX 5 update and the new phone looks real good to me! i wont be getting it as i only got my iphone 4 3-4 months ago.

You only need iOS5 for that, which would've worked on your 3GS

I did install iOS5 on my iPod Touch (4th gen) but I'm not too impressed yet, it's a lot less responsive, seems to freeze every now and then and sometimes it just stutters while playing music

I'm hoping there's going to be a performance update on it, because this isn't too great
