Studied this a little bit awhile back, and I wish I could do it

I DO know a kind of neuroscience hypnosis, but I haven't been able to get it to work... My adviser taught me it. The hit or miss nature of it makes me suspect that it operates on similar principles. Hence, why I want to study hypnosis. It's a variation on this:

I've seen some hypnosis type stuff on TV and I went to a show in person, but I've been very skeptical of the whole thing.

I've never seen it done besides on television, but I have extensively read into and practiced neuro-linguistic programming. Some believe a few aspects of this psuedo-science can be considered hypnosis. If that's the case I've hypnotized countless people and sometimes without realizing I am doing so.

I have only been hypnotized once, unlikely ill do it again. I acted like a 10 year old kid after drinking 14 red bulls.

I remember seeing hypnosis being done at a renaissance faire, and also some on tv. I've never been hypnotized, but I would like to. I think it would be an interesting and fun experience.

We used to have a real hypnotist come to our school every year and we'd do a whole school assembly with it. That's when you know it's real--when the high school Seniors are doing things they wouldn't be caught dead doing otherwise (and also when you have P.E. with them right afterward and they are still totally zoned out).

Back then I wouldn't have volunteered, but nowadays I would totally be first in line.
