At 40,000 feet!

Pretty much the first person I saw was Hulk Hogan.

When walking around San Diego, there were building-sized advertisements everywhere. That one in the distance is for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Katamari Damacy cosplayers! I thought it was rare, but I saw two more later on.

Outside.

Went to the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was so good!

So was the mizithra cheese. Shark loved it too.

First two Homestuck cosplayers I saw. Karkat with an afro? So unbelieveable.

Out back. Cowboys & Aliens advertisement in the background. I think they were actually showing the world premeire there that night.

I stood in like for, like, 3 or 4 hours to get into the Eureka and Warehouse 13 panels. The lines were exponentially longer than the last time I was at SDCC, it was SO CRAZY.

They were seriously so long.

Like several thousand people. Like 5,000+ people.

Two hours later, we have several tents and 1,500 people left and it's like a half-hour to the Eureka panel and the room holds like 4,000?

Then out of the blue OH MY GOODNESS IT'S COLIN FERGUSON. You can see his head next to the sign. The line started moving like crazy and he walked out and started shaking everyone's hand and taking pictures with everyone which held up the line tremendously but you could tell everyone loved him. At some point someone knocked on the glass to point out that the line continued outside, and he ran up and looked out at us and everyone cheered and it was awesome.
Apparently he had to ditch his own security detail to come say hi to the fans, because they didn't want him getting run over. What a nice guy!

We barely got into the Eureka panel. I didn't take any pictures. I took one of the Warehouse 13 panel but it didn't turn out very well. Turns out both panels can be found on Syfy.com this year!

At this point I started walking around with the aim of seeing every single thing there was to see. First thing I saw was a Dave cosplayer.

About four aisles later she had found other people. I swear, Homestuck cosplayers just
find each other and
stay together. How do you even get that many fans that's that many?

View from the Qualcomm Stadium trolley station that evening.

Another shot. Look! Mountains! I live in Illinois, it's like flat prairie farmland for hundreds of miles. STOP TAKING TINY MOUNTAINS FOR GRANTED YOU GUYS.

A certain RuneVillager's bedroom.

I took these pictures while he was in the kitchen I think.

Back to completely random pictures all over the place!

Doctor Who was a big deal this year.

These guys were clip-clopping all over going "Make way for the king!" It was pretty awesome. I got their picture and then wished him well on his quest, he was all "Thank you good sir" and strode off into the non-sunset.

There was never more than 1 person in line for the Guild Wars 2 demo. That was probably because it lasted 35 minutes.

Nintendo booth with Skyward Sword trailer.

Wait, they're making a Men in Black 3?

Weta Workshop booth, where I got like a ton of TF2 Righteous Bisons and gave them to other RuneVillagers!

Arkham City was also a tremendously huge deal this year.

Lego Batman!

I played the Sonic Generations demo! It was fun. Already pre-ordered it.

These things were actually scatted just about everywhere, far from the Doctor Who booth. Gotta give them credit for making the game fun.

Shook Eddie McClintock's hand twice and got his autograph, how cool is that?! Too bad I'm incapable of taking a photo without shaking!

Final Fantasy XIII-2 had a pretty sweet looking demo, too.

More Nintendo booth pics.

Another Nintendo booth pic.

oh god no

At this point I was standing in line for almost 2 hours for the Avatar: The Legend of Korra panel. (Didn't get in, barely missed it.) Took a lot of pictures of outside.

This is the back, the marina area.

Sheik!

I still need to play the third Phoenix Wright game...

View from the mezzanine.

I guess this is a prop from the upcoming movie!

I bought Munchkin Impossible from Steve Jackson Games somewhere around here.

I assume this is also closely tied to the movie, hence the case?

Life-size Lego ninja!

And Captain Jack Sparrow!

View of the front.

And down the way.

Ha ha! Oh, Sokka!

AND THIS IS ALL THE STUFF I GOT! Excluding a few fliers I threw away. Sorry, Bulker.
