Yeah, it was actually the end of July, but I didn't feel like uploading over so many pictures to Tinypic one at a time until now I guess. :P Enjoy!

The pictures that have sharks in them is because I draw a webcomic.

I think Tinypic reduced the sizes of all these to 1600x1200. I really don't want to go resize all these pictures. :(

At 40,000 feet!

Image
Pretty much the first person I saw was Hulk Hogan.

Image
When walking around San Diego, there were building-sized advertisements everywhere. That one in the distance is for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Image
Katamari Damacy cosplayers! I thought it was rare, but I saw two more later on.

Image
Outside.

Image
Went to the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was so good!

Image
So was the mizithra cheese. Shark loved it too.

Image
First two Homestuck cosplayers I saw. Karkat with an afro? So unbelieveable.

Image
Out back. Cowboys & Aliens advertisement in the background. I think they were actually showing the world premeire there that night.

Image
I stood in like for, like, 3 or 4 hours to get into the Eureka and Warehouse 13 panels. The lines were exponentially longer than the last time I was at SDCC, it was SO CRAZY.

Image
They were seriously so long.

Image
Like several thousand people. Like 5,000+ people.

Image
Two hours later, we have several tents and 1,500 people left and it's like a half-hour to the Eureka panel and the room holds like 4,000?

Image
Then out of the blue OH MY GOODNESS IT'S COLIN FERGUSON. You can see his head next to the sign. The line started moving like crazy and he walked out and started shaking everyone's hand and taking pictures with everyone which held up the line tremendously but you could tell everyone loved him. At some point someone knocked on the glass to point out that the line continued outside, and he ran up and looked out at us and everyone cheered and it was awesome.

Apparently he had to ditch his own security detail to come say hi to the fans, because they didn't want him getting run over. What a nice guy!

Image
We barely got into the Eureka panel. I didn't take any pictures. I took one of the Warehouse 13 panel but it didn't turn out very well. Turns out both panels can be found on Syfy.com this year! :P

Image
At this point I started walking around with the aim of seeing every single thing there was to see. First thing I saw was a Dave cosplayer.

Image
About four aisles later she had found other people. I swear, Homestuck cosplayers just find each other and stay together. How do you even get that many fans that's that many? :weird:

Image
View from the Qualcomm Stadium trolley station that evening.

Image
Another shot. Look! Mountains! I live in Illinois, it's like flat prairie farmland for hundreds of miles. STOP TAKING TINY MOUNTAINS FOR GRANTED YOU GUYS.

Image
A certain RuneVillager's bedroom.

Image
I took these pictures while he was in the kitchen I think. 8)

Image
Back to completely random pictures all over the place!

Image

Image

Image
Doctor Who was a big deal this year.

Image

Image

Image
These guys were clip-clopping all over going "Make way for the king!" It was pretty awesome. I got their picture and then wished him well on his quest, he was all "Thank you good sir" and strode off into the non-sunset.

Image

Image

Image

Image
There was never more than 1 person in line for the Guild Wars 2 demo. That was probably because it lasted 35 minutes.

Image
Nintendo booth with Skyward Sword trailer.

Image
Wait, they're making a Men in Black 3?

Image

Image
Weta Workshop booth, where I got like a ton of TF2 Righteous Bisons and gave them to other RuneVillagers! :)

Image
Arkham City was also a tremendously huge deal this year.

Image
Lego Batman!

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image
I played the Sonic Generations demo! It was fun. Already pre-ordered it.

Image
These things were actually scatted just about everywhere, far from the Doctor Who booth. Gotta give them credit for making the game fun.

Image
Shook Eddie McClintock's hand twice and got his autograph, how cool is that?! Too bad I'm incapable of taking a photo without shaking!

Image
Final Fantasy XIII-2 had a pretty sweet looking demo, too.

Image
More Nintendo booth pics.

Image
Another Nintendo booth pic.

Image
oh god no

Image

Image
At this point I was standing in line for almost 2 hours for the Avatar: The Legend of Korra panel. (Didn't get in, barely missed it.) Took a lot of pictures of outside.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image
This is the back, the marina area.

Image

Image

Image
Sheik!

Image
I still need to play the third Phoenix Wright game...

Image
View from the mezzanine.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image
I guess this is a prop from the upcoming movie!

Image
I bought Munchkin Impossible from Steve Jackson Games somewhere around here.

Image

Image

Image

Image
I assume this is also closely tied to the movie, hence the case?

Image

Image
Life-size Lego ninja!

Image
And Captain Jack Sparrow!

Image

Image
View of the front.

Image

Image
And down the way.

Image

Image
Ha ha! Oh, Sokka!

Image
AND THIS IS ALL THE STUFF I GOT! Excluding a few fliers I threw away. Sorry, Bulker.

Thanks Jaron!! This is the first year I actually missed it in.. gosh.. probably 7 years or so. Was really cool too see some of the bigger things they had going on this year.

Certainly doesn't seem as crowded as usual. Did you go earlier in the week or later? Or did you have one of them fancy 5 day passes?

Looks like you had a great time down in S.D. Next time your down there, try this restaurant called Bondi's, its about 3 blocks or so from the convention center and its a really really great Australian bar & grille. It's just expensive as hell and kinda fancy. (Expect to spend alot of money, I spent 55 bucks on two burgers and two beers for me and my buddy).

Anyways, maybe I'll see you down there next Comic-Con!

Also: Looks like they aren't giving away many free DVD's this year. Or maybe I just didnt pay close enough attention to your goodie bag photo.

@Market Man6: I brought 6 different faces, 2 of each (facing opposite directions.) They're still all crammed in my wallet, haha!

@Loudawg: Maybe it was slightly less crowded, because trust me, EVERYONE was in line this year for something! Two years ago I got in line 45 minutes early and got in, this year I got in like 4 hours early and BARELY made it (and missed the other one.) Also nope, didn't get any DVDs.

@Kikori: Quite! I want to go again someday, but I dunno about next year. Took me two hours to get tickets this year and they sold out in 18 hours.

Also I met Phil LaMarr. It was really awkward because I didn't know what to say, and the friend I took made fun of me for it like a bluh bluh huge jerk, but hey, it's Phil LaMarr, so I'm not complaining.
