Hey everybody

I was reading this forum post, (first post after having been gone for about 7-8 years), and I'm wondering myself... How much has Runevillage changed in about 7-8 years? I noticed the forum link doesn't say "The Pub" Anymore, but URL still does. I don't Hiker's castle image in the background of the website anymore; the one that would get decorated with different things for seasons and holidays.


Are Fant, Meep, Henner, Monkeymom, and the rest of the bunch still around here or anybody else from several years ago? I noticed there's no more meepbot in chat also.

Edit: Welp... forgot to put a subject... I suppose that goes to show how long I've been off of forums. Too much reddit...

A lot changed. Hiker is gone. Everyone else you mentioned is gone. Runvillage > Reddit

Heya Applequest. Yeah, I think it was Monkeymom2. Her and her son frequented the site.

Oh man I think Monkeymom was even before my time. But since you joined just about a year before me, that makes sense.

It's good to see an oldie of RuneVillage!

Lots of things happened and in general a lot of people have moved on (including all of those you listed), and their free time doesn't include browsing RuneVillage anymore. But there are quite a number of us who will continue to be here as long as RV exists! And thus here we are.

I love how your forum Location is an old-school RuneScape reference.
