I just make this on Facebook. As the page explains I am collecting the Cans and Tabs for a Guinness Book of World Records! I would like to post it here to see if you all would please help me collect them! Thanks :)

You wouldn't be giving him $50,000 worth of cans, unless you want to give him 1,000,000 cans.

1m cans = 29231 lbs

current sale price is 87cents which scrap dealers typically give half 43.5cents
comes to $12,715

I traded in some massive aluminum slabs a couple years back before the prices crashed
and I got 69 cents per pound of aluminum. Something happened later 2008 and the metal market stopped...
