Plans for the Holidays?

First Christmas *really* away from home. Dec. 7-11 I am going back to Michigan to have Christmas with my daughter and to see my family.

Dec. 22 I am going to my girlfriend's aunt's house in PA to have a Christmas dinner.

Dec. 25 my woman and I will exchange our gifts and we'll meet up with a friend who currently lives in Lexington, VA to have Christmas dinner, go see Les Miserables, and get Fuzzy Bunny

drunk.

When I write it all down, it sounds like it *might* be fun. :?:

Thanks man, I spoke to my boss in my old job, there's plenty of hours going over Christmas, and seeing as I'm trained and available it makes sense

It's a one thousand mile trip to see one person (my baby girl), and I also have to see and deal with my ex. My entire family is either dead or dirt ass poor, which ends in them always asking for money or some sort of help, which I have a hard time refusing around the holidays. Plus the trip is costing me upwards of 300 dollars just in gas and tolls, on a near minimum wage salary.

I hate most of my girlfriend's family as they don't treat me the best.

The 25th is the only day I'm even remotely excited for.

And I generally really hate the Christmas season due to the things that went on when I was a kid. And a young adult, I guess.

I've done pretty much all I've wanted to lately and I've got most of my gifts ready. I'm probably going to take a week off work so I will be off from the 22nd of December to the 1st of January.

As far as plans during that time, my parents are throwing their annual party with friends on the 22nd and dubbing it "The Day After the End of the World Party". I'll probably end up drawing a lot of stuff for two comics because I signed up for a spot in the Collab-Comic Project for that week that I'm off. We'll probably also have a New Year's Eve party that consists of 4-player Starcraft matches and other stuff. Who knows really.
