Oh. You don't believe in unions. Do you belong to a union?

Slavery with payment and education, the perfect disguise.

Diluting effective workers in order to boost the least productive in society? Taking their children to riots in Australia to get the Government bad publicity?

Not trolling.

At my workplace, which is heavily unionised (I'm not in a union), they fought hard to make sure everyone got a 20c payrise. Most of the people are lazy Fuzzy Bunny who barely belong in a job, let alone get a payrise. By comparison I work my ass off, I managed a department with no experience and sales were up 9% on the equvilant week last year. I get the same raise as the shitheads who spend all day Fuzzy Bunny around looking at the clock.

As for taking kids to riots, the Maritime Union of Australia did this in the late 1990s in response to government efforts to increase efficiency on the docks (We had worse waterfront efficiency than landlocked countries thanks to union thuggery).

Unions are good......to an extent.

They had a hand in ruining GM and many other companies. Nothing like paying people to sit around and do NOTHING.....because you can't fire them for free of the union suing you. Literally.....guys sat around and did nothing. Couldn't fire them. Couldn't call their bluffs on being sick for days at a time, yet they update Facebook with pictures of them on vacation.

My mother is in a union. They fight to get them raises, but then at the same time raise insurance premiums, so nothing really gets accomplished. :/

Map out states with new car factories.
Map out states with big unions.
Cross reference these states with unemployment rates.

That's the problem with unions in today's economy.
At one point they had a purpose. In the 20's-50's work conditions were horrible and pay was worse. These days there's already protections for the workers and laws that forbid stuff like paying somebody barely enough to live on and terrifying work conditions.

So now unions result in huge monopolies on labor that demand obscene pay for jobs that don't really deserve it. Then if you don't pay, your entire labor force is gone. They've effectively strangled Detroit already and many other states they have a labor monopoly in. I think in some ways they once had a purpose and were a good thing to have. But now they're bloated self-interest groups more trying to serve the interests of the leaders than the people they supposedly serve. They threaten employees that disagree and intimidate the workers into going along with the union desires... In my opinion, the unions now are as big of a danger to the economy as the conditions they were created to prevent in their inception.
