At the moment I work for an independent graphic design company in Hamilton, Ontario.

My day more or less consists of:
1. Getting into work, turning on my computer
2. Reading emails and doodling on my wacom
3. Getting a project/working on a project
4. Getting criticized by clients
5. Reworking a project in their vision
6. Getting criticized for straying too far from their vision
7. ReReworking the project
8. Boss drops by with candy and tylenol
9. Watch Youtube and browse some other websites when he isn't around
10. 5 o'clock...turn on my out of office voicemail and email responders. And go relax and destress. :P

Rinse and repeat.

Until last month I was working as Community Manager/Localization Specialist for PokerStrategy.com, a poker school in Gibraltar. I was responsible for the Swedish website and its content. The basic task was managing a team of freelancers to translate various content and running an editorial department for news writing.

I've also been freelancing as a translator/proofreader, working with some big console titles as well as some of Zynga's Facebook games.

Now I'm moving for a new job, though (which is why I'm on here right now, procrastinating instead of packing!). Moving to Dublin on Tuesday to start work for Google. Job title is Quality Evaluator (Swedish/Norwegian), but what exactly it will entail is a bit vague, so remains to be seen. Starting on the 21st, so quite excited!

Maybe :P I'm not technically allowed to share my WIP(work in progress)'s with third parties unless told by the client. But I'm sure I can edit out some personal info on my online portfolio and show you some when I get back to the office tomorrow. :D

@Flumm - I still laugh at your name :awesome:. My dads friend used to work for a KIA dealership in Toronto, Canada and sometimes memo's would come through to him in Swedish accidentally. I got my volunteer hours for high school translating backlogs of memo's from Swedish to English. It was really easy and it made me look smart haha.

Just remember: farmor and farfar - mormor and morfar and the other english translation fails :P

Haha, that's awesome. Not the most common volunteer work, I bet. :P
And yes, never understood why English didn't have separate words for those!

I'm currently a "full time student" but I have a weekend job working in a Pub. Pulling pints, cleaning tables, entertaining drunks. Beats working in Tesco I guess! :P

Paternal grandmother, paternal grandfather - maternal grandmother, maternal grandfather.

That's how you differentiate them in english ;) It's much simpler in our languages though.

Yeah......We have the hardest language to learn with a ton of words for things that don't need a ton of words, and something like that is left out. Amazing.
