I think the astrology question is to see if you have any sort of spiritual belief. I suppose they think it fits in because of all the issues between religion and politics (spirituality being 'religion-lite' I suppose). The question really threw me off too, just because people argue in a field between religion and politics doesn't mean it should always have something to do with political orientation.

As for the school attendance question, I think that one was regarding college attendance. Not sure though, the argument can be made for elementary-highschool too.

I think the school attendance one might have to do with federal-influence or something similar. The astrology one is up in the air, though.

I don't think this can determine my orientation, seeing as there aren't any "I don't care" options.

That puts you in the stone age, to be honest.

Everything set to Strongly disagree (except one question because I misclicked), including the astrology question:

The same, but for Strongly Agree for astrology:

So a 0.46 more authoritarian view if you believe in astrology. Don't know how that works but OK.

Somehow I doubt my apolitical sentiments subscribe to the palaeolithic/neolithic period...

My apologies, I will express myself more clearly.

Your insular view of the world belongs in the stone age, where you didn't have to form an opinion on anything - However in a society where you have the ability to be informed on various issues, the refusal to form an opinion represents not a proper intellectual standpoint, but rather demonstrates ignorance: it is the common 'pleb' who refuses to form an opinion on an issue.

Admittedly I am not sure why I bother locking horns with you though, given that neither of us will change the mind of the other.

Perhaps believing in it is seen as an act of following authority? Accepting the answers without questioning it.

Ironically, this aspect of debate was exactly why I ended up being apolitical in the first place...

I tend to be sceptical of my ability (or that of most people for that matter) to change anybody's political views. Doesn't mean I don't have political views.

here be my midwest america, hick town farm boy results :D
Attachment:
pcgraphpng.png

I'm really surprised at my results honestly. I took it yesterday, and my dot was the same length left but it was south of the x axis. Still though, 90% of the people where i live would score as far right as possible and it seems I'm one of the few in my area to actually have some democratic views. or communist as this graph would say 8)

as a test I'm going to do a quiz as i think hitler would answer them, then i'll see how close my results are to hitlers dot on the map :D

and here are my hitler results

Double post merged; also you didn't attach your results. :D -Mnok
haha thanks monk
