I'm technically supposed to stand at the end of the register to usher people in.

Problem: people don't listen. Less than one out of ten actually pay attention to me trying to get them in, if their eyes were not already on my empty lane. I get more success by standing at the register itself so people know someone's there, and the bosses recognize this oddity. So I'm not bugged about it. :p

You should attempt to create a continuous story through these tiny strips of paper. Then put it on the internet and get rich.
