So you say you have put extensive research into this but how can you assume that WWIII will start on the same scenario as WWII even though you can't say the same about WWI meaning that there is just an assumption based on an event not correlating with anything else.
So without there being at least 3 previous wars based on this event there is no basis to assume there will be one now. (the rule of thirds)

I've seen people post things like this as well as e-mail them and I feel sorry for their stupidity. But your a step above you cut off the part that says "If you believe in god and the world please forward this to everyone in your contacts list".

I do indeed read the bible, and when I think about all of this possibly even being in my lifetime, it is scary. But doesn't the bible also say that he will come when we least expect it? As in wouldnt that mean we would never be able to accurately predict his coming?

Personally, I don't think I'd EVER want to know when the last day would be because then the would lives in fear of that day and a panic would set in. I read these with an open mind and decide to ignor dates because I don't want to know when so I can enjoy my life to the fullest as it is. (If said dates are true or not.)

You know what's really sad?

The high possibility that you actually believe what you have typed as opposed to writing it to troll. #-o

Here's my prediction: Ic_Lb proven to be a clueless dingbat several times before he gets bored with posting on Runevillage. I would have joined in on this thread to do so, but it seems everyone else has already beat me to it. If you want to know my thoughts, see Sarah's post at the top of this page. It pretty much puts an end to any discussion, because it is the TRUTH.

I love this post, and it makes total sense. There's no possible way to predict the future, and just because your research tells you that these are special dates, doesn't mean they are.

Did the Bible also tell us who is going to win, I mean imagine investing in the arms industry now, we could make a killing.

My reply:

Grass is green.
bart's sig contains a shred of green.
Therefor his sig must be made of grass.
In addition, the Middle Eastern Coalition in Battlefield has a green flag, therefor they must have grass and be in bart's sig.

It is solved then! The MEC will jump out of bart's sig and start smoking everyone in grass so they will be unable to fight back.

I am doing the exact same as you did here, thorough research on something made by someone else a while ago.

So first off being a previously strong roman catholic I distinctly remember something in the doctrines about the pope isn't to leave Vatican city and establish a permanent residence anywhere else. Like I said in my earlier post this whole thing is without any glue of any sort to hold the pieces of dribble onto the screen. So basically you asked us if there is any proof to deny this any way I implore you to do the same.
I really want to know where your proof is.

You got all of this from Revelation, didn't you? I'm sorry to burst your bubble dude, but take a chill pill and think over your research.

The Book of Revelation was written at a time when the people then believed that Jesus was going to come back in the imminent future. Many parts of the Book are references to Roman or Jewish areas. Take, for example, Armageddon. The battle for the end of the world, or whatever. "Har Megido" is a plain in Turkey (could be wrong about that, but I know it was in the Roman Empire) where the Roman Army trained its fiercest and cruelest warriors. They were feared by all and if you met them in combat, you were just plain screwed. Think about it. "Har Megido" and "Armageddon." Most religious scholars believe that Armageddon referred to that plain. It was also at this plain where the Roman Army came together for the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Later, the Roman Army was destroyed by other countries, one of the chief battles being at this plain on the top of a small hill. In other words, the Battle of Armageddon has probably already happened.

I'll go one step further to show you. 666/616 (depending on your source) has always been a source of mass debate when it comes to Revelation. Basically, the "number" refers to a popular name-game (bad choice of words, I know) in the first century AD. People would take their names and assign a number to each letter. Adding them up gave you a "number." The game was for people to use your number to figure out what your name would be. Fitting enough, Emperor Nero's number was, you guessed it, 666, and we all know what he did. As for 616? The Latin spelling of Nero's name adds up to 616 (the Greek version adds up to 666), but there may be another tie as well. Sometime in his four-year reign (37-41 AD), Roman Emperor Caligula erected a statue of himself in the Temple in Jerusalem. This is one of the biggest acts of blasphemy to God you can do, probably the worst next to denouncing His Authority. And his number? 616. Like the Battle of Armageddon, I'm willing to bet that 666/616 is old news.

Trivia: Caligula is Marc Antony's grandson.

To get a better idea of the name game I'm talking about...

Nero (Hebrew):

Resh - 200
Samekh - 60
Qoph - 100
Nun - 50
Vuv - 6
Resh - 200
Nun - 50
Total - 666

Nero (Hebrew translation from Latin):

Resh - 200
Samekh - 60
Qoph - 100
Vuv - 6
Resh - 200
Nun - 50
Total - 616

Caligula (Hebrew):

Resh - 200
Samekh - 60
Qoph - 100
Samekh - 60
Gimel - 3
Lamed - 30
Qoph - 100
Samekh - 60
Gimel - 3
Total - 616

Caligula (Greek):

Γ - 3
α - 1
ι - 10
ο - 70
σς -200
Κ - 20
α - 1
ι - 10
σς - 200
α ρ - 1
Total - 616

And besides, have you thought of the other Apocalypse predictions mentioned in the Bible? Ezra II (if you're Protestant, look in the Apocrypha)? Genesis accounts and references after the Flood? There's a lot more than just Revelation. You also really failed to dig deep into the Revelation and the Apocryphic writings. Where are the connections to the Angels and the Seals? How do the Four Horsemen tie into this? Has there been a significant event in the recent past that could relate to any of this?

Have you read Joel? Isaiah? Micah? Their writings provide a less grim picture than nations warring against each other. Where are your connections to this?

Now to go into all the dates and numbers that you went into. Yes, the Lunar Calender is a very important aspect of every ancient religious culture, but just because one day falls on another significant date in history doesn't mean anything. Going by your logic, Americans should expect Alaska to break way from the United States on July 2nd and make their own Declaration on the 4th.

1260 days? What's the purpose of these numbers? I can't find my Bible, but I can't think of any specific reference to the number 1260. Same goes with 1290 and 1335.

On May 12, 2012, your timeline says that the Rapture of the Saints will occur on Pentecost. Unless I misread you, it seems like you said that this event IS Pentecost. Well, it isn't. It's basically the Christian version of the Jewish feist shavout (Jewish members please correct my spelling). So, yeah. If this date is the Rapture of the Saints, then what about Satan's army? Are you talking about the Muslim countries? Oh Lord...

Muslims and Christians are not going to war against each other anytime soon. The reason that fundamentalist Muslim states in the Middle East do not like the Western countries is because those countries are secular. Catholicism/Protestantism/Orthodox and Islam has nothing to do with it. Islam and Christianity are people of the same book; Islam has another prophet.

Also, what is with all of these predictions? What goes into this? What's your proof that something happens? At least reference something in the past that shows how this all leads up to each other. You really don't have any proof that any of this will happen, and if you do, please share it with us. I think we can take it.

And don't say "Check your Bible."

Oh, this is that thing about certain stuff happening on certain corresponding dates, I forget the name. There's a million of these. One of them said there'd be a second Hiroshima on 2nd September, there wasn't. Another said today (which happened to be the day CERN's LHC turned on) would be the end of the world, another said the 21st (which happens to be when the first LHC collisions happen) will be the end of the world. You should watch some Derren Brown. We as a race are always looking for patterns, and wherever we look, we'll find them, that is not to say the patterns are meaningful.

We will also "bend" the pattern to suit our needs.

I see this with gamblers all the time. They win a few times in a row, and start doing the same thing over and over again. When they start losing, it's "oh it's past 4pm, I can't win after that" or something to make an excuse to bend it to suit their needs.

I don't believe in the numbers game, never have. Numbers can solve a LOT of problems but they, as far as I know, cannot predict future events (with exceptions that have a scientific backing i.e. hurricanes, weather changes, etc) like the end of the world, when I'll win the lotto (trust me, I tried!), or if my first child will be a boy or girl on August 21, 2011.

I'm surprised for something that you have labeled 'fact', there are still words like 'guess' and 'might' in your writing.

I'm all for trying to put pieces together to see if there's a link in the world ending I mean... here are 220 dates that world was (and is still) supposed to end: http://www.bible.ca/pre-date-setters.htm
All, of course related to the bible. (I don't know why it's so depressing..)
Anyways, I'm not Christian, so I guess I'm safe.
I like Buddhism, never any mention of the world going to end... it's peaceful, really.

Australian time, you were right about something happening on the 30th of September. However, your prediction is wrong on what happened.

You fail.

Nothing about the Financial Bailout in the US? One would think that would be important enough to include in your cute little timeline.

Wow, this is great matierial for an Apocalyptic novel. I can imagine it now, the climatic lightsaber duel between Jesus and Satan just after Satan defeats God with his force lightning. And then, when good thinks they have won... BAM, 1335 days end! Good Fight!

I'd read it. :-s

I'm not trying to be mean but if you bothered to actually read the Bible you would have seen this verse:

"But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." - Matthew 24:36.

Jesus is speaking of his second coming and specifically says that no one will know when that is except God himself. It is ok to speculate what events might happen and when and the Bible does say that we can know the "seasons" but when you start putting specific dates to specific events you just make yourself and the rest of us Christians look like idiots.
