It's a Columbia Booney Hat. I don't know the specific model. Just google it and you'll find lots of them in different colors and sizes.

You umpire behind home plate, too? I thought it was just a first base thing. I can only imagine how different those positions really are.

Yeah, umpiring is really its own sport. Every person if unique behind the plate. Then you get into the different number crew members. You can work a crew from 2 - 6 men. I've done it all. The first base umpire has different responsibilities and mechanics than the second base umpire, the third base umpire is almost like the first base umpire, just flipped mechanics. Then if you have a 6 man crew, you have two umpires on the outfield foul lines, they're in charge of fair/four calls behind the first and third base umpire as well as home run calls.

Umpiring can be challenging if you try at it. A lot of local high school board umpires don't care and just want enough money to go gambling once a week. But in professional ball, it's almost like a rehearsed dance when you have a three man umpiring crew with a ball hit to the left field gap. lol
