I'm pretty liberal as far as things go. About the only issues I swing conservative on are national defense (where're our soldier's powered armor and railguns?) and illegal immigration.

I tend to be liberal on social issues, such as gay rights and women's right to choose, a strong feminist and an environmentalist. But on the other hand I tend to be on the right for foreign affairs, and since an army brat, love the military. So I consider myself a Republican.

I'm a damned hippy. Also, I quit caring about most political issues. Sometimes if there's an ethical type issue I'll take an interest though, such as the Wikileaks thing.

Fiscally conservative, politically "middle-of-the-road." Whatever seems to be more sensible to me is the way I vote.

Churchill only said that cause he switched parties when he was up and coming before the war. He used it to justify his position, considering he's one of very few people to be both liberal and conservative in government it's statistically nonsensical.

Ideally, I'm an anarchist. However, I acknowledge the inherent impossible idealism of my beliefs, so I reconcile them with existing political thought. Other than that, my views fall pretty drastically on either side. I am supportive of drug legalization, gay marriage, etc simply because I don't care what you do if it doesn't affect me. You want to smoke weed? Good for you, I don't care. Go for it. I can't really think of anything else... You'd have to ask me a question instead of brain-dumping my beliefs.

I beleive the quote is actually more like this:

If you're under 20 and conservative, you don't have a heart,

If you over 30 and liberal you don't have a brain.

This makes a bit more sense because it's true that most young adults and teens who are liberal are liberal for good reasons. However, the major problem is that many, in fact most young conservatives aren't the (false) stereotype of rich kids who care about no one. For example, I'm conservative, 15, and give 10% of my income to charitable causes. I do what I can to be environmentally friendly, and try to tolerate all different demographics, cultures, and beleifs. This is true about most of my friends, who, in many cases, tend to lean right just because of my location and activities.

In fact you often find a lot of rich kids are bleeding heart liberals because they've never had to work a day in their life and have no concept of reality in terms of fiscal responsibility.

Not sure how tax cuts for the rich, a staple conservative plank in their platform, translates into fiscal responsibility. The deficit isn't because we're spending too much, it's because we're spending more than we're bringing in.
