Now time to interview there (next month) and find out if I get in (probably around mid-March or April). Gotta save da lives.

Did neuroscience for undergrad and am leaving next week for a yearlong fellowship in another country.

And yes, Apple, I definitely applied to the imaginary Princeton School of Medicine as my backup :lol:

I do have a few other interviews but the Harvard one is what made me squee.

Thanks for the well wishes, all! Still only about a 25% chance of getting in at Harvard, but who knows. Maybe I'll pwn the interview with my knowledge of RuneScape, tennis, and Mafia.

I would never say "I was an administrator on a fan website for years" but you can use the relevant parts if they ever come up. "I carefully planned and executed upwards of 50 online events for people of all time zones." would describe my work in the RVET on a smaller scale, for instance.

I would never put it on a resume, or even bring it up in an interview, but I'd hope that my experience as admin here has me better prepared for the day when I have people reporting to me at work.
